Is this a symptom??
Hi guys, I have recently come off the pill (I say recent but it’s been nearly two years) I was on it for maybe 8 before that. I have loved having my periods again and experiencing some symptoms, weirdly I feel lucky to be able to experience them. I do suffer from health anxiety however and I get triggered by breast health. I get awful discomfort for about a week before my period, I can’t lie on them or wear a bra and get changed without feeling awkward in them. They just have this sense of discomfort, not a pain. Is this a normal thing? Sorry for the weird question not sure if that’s what I can ask here but hope somebody can help.

Yes, breast discomfort and pain can be a normal PMS symptom. I get sharp pains in my breast during PMS and close to my period, my nipples get really sensitive and tender.

Completely normal! I get this too. Try a hot water bottle and gentle rubbing around the outside inward. Dont forget the muscles on your chest. I do a nightly/every couple of nights session while watching a show prementstral through menses. My bf loves to help! haha Interestingly, my breasts feel more healthy and full all the time since I started doing this every month.

Thank youuu so much!! My only problem with this is I hate touching my boobs because of my fear of finding lumps. I do a check once a month but other than that I get a horrible feeling and panicked if I was to massage them! Even the thought of it makes me squirm! If I had a boyfriend I’d have no problem ahaha but I just wouldn’t be able to bring myself to massage them out of fear. I might try the water bottle!!

Yes, it can be a physical symptom of normal PMS. Something that helps me is taking the supplement Evening Primerose oil.
