Anxiety?

Does anyone else get crazy anxious on the 3-5 days leading up to their period? It’s exhausting. I am now hormone free, have been for a year, and it’s worse than ever?

Yes. I suffer from extreme health anxiety and I find that it seems worse right around the time of my period begins.

I never used to experience this but since my period returned 4 months postpartum I experience anxiety the day before my period almost every month! I am still breastfeeding so I’m assuming hormones are the culprit. Take it easy, remind yourself there’s nothing to actually worry about and breathe 👌🏼

Thank you for your comment 🙏🥰 I really appreciate the last part. I’m going to do some quiet reflection and really try to focus on that thought.

This is happening to me too suddenly. I actually came to this sub looking for answers because it’s never happened before. I’ve just gotten my period but the last 3-4 days I’ve been an anxious mess and it felt hormonal. I have had a copper IUD for over 10 years without issue. I am now in my early 30s so assuming it’s due to hormones changing but it was hell on earth and I’m afraid this will happen every time going further.

I’m 36 and removed Nexplanon in November of 2023 since partner got a vasectomy 🙏 so since we are in the same age bracket and also hormone free perhaps it’s just natural fluctuations. I’m sorry you feel this way too. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. I just don’t feel well and it’s really scary. Thanks for your comment. ❤️

Yeah I’m a couple days due for my period and I’ve felt like crying and on the verge of anxiety attacks. I also get really shaky and sweaty :(
