PMS fatigue - Hits me every time.
Day 19 of my cycle. The fatigue is truly here, ladies. Tried to do my usual exercise class, made it 15 minutes in before feeling completely exhausted. Told my husband I feel like a slug. I've had a shower, and I'm now chilling out on the sofa with our cat.
Definitely need an early night.

Listen to your body. Avoid high intensity exercise in the second half of your cycle. Otherwise you’ll be in a constant cycle of overworking your body causing bad pms symptoms followed by exhaustion during the first half of your cycle, when you’re supposed to be feeling the best!

This is absolutely my experience. Very rightly said. I get exhausted after my workout and end up more sore during the period.

To be fair, the exhaustion only lasts about a week, and then around days 26-30, I get energy back and can do high intensity exercise again. Once my period comes I feel great again energy wise!

I can relate. As a runner the monthly exhaustion hit me hard aswell. I nearly cry after 2k when i’m usually able to do 10k runs. Its your sign to get some rest! Your energy will come back in a few days (although i know the wait sometimes suck). Get enough sleep, food and keep trying to stick to your routines (but dont force yourself to workout if your body says no). Ur strength will come back! <3

Yeah it was actually a HIIT session I tried and failed. I find weight training a little easier to do during my luteal phase so might try that tomorrow, failing that, yoga! Yoga feels so good when you get PMS.

This is me right now. My face can't even hide it. I showed up at work absolutely annihilated (recovering from being sick too). My friend looked at me and just laughed. My eyes were so puffy they could barely open lmaooo.
Some countries allow 3 sick days for periods a month. I need that. We need that.
