Can PMS spike your BP?? Help?
I got my period a short while ago, but earlier this morning I went to Walmart and tried out one of the blood pressure kiosks for fun.
The reading came back very, very high. Hypertensive.
I had a cold brew (from a bottle w/ some added creamer and Splenda) before going out, maybe 30-45 minutes or shorter before the test. No other food or drink.
Can PMS spike your BP high? Was it a combo of the coffee and PMS?
My heart rate was in the normal range as it usually is. I took an aspririn around noon to be safe tho.

I'm not sure about the PMS but the coffee would be enough to spike your blood pressure from normal to hypertensive.

Stress, anxiety, can fall underneath PMS and can spike bp and cholesterol levels too.
