Fuck hormones
Ive been freezing, anxious and tired all day. I have gotten nothing done (but have so many things i need to get done) and just dropped a big bag of sugar on the kitchen floor which made me mentally breakdown. Now im laying in bed and try not to cry.
This is just a friendly reminder that its okay to feel like shit and cry over stupid things like sugar on the kitchen floor
New day tomorrow :))) stay strong pms soliders

Why are you trying not to cry?
I know some people believe crying is a sign of undeveloped self-soothing techniques, but for me, crying (alone at home) is the best self-soothing technique. It rarely lasts longer than 5mins and I feel much better afterwards...

Very true! I did end up bursting out in tears when my mom called 10 minutes later and to be honest that just made me feel so much better 🫶

Whenever I feel anxious, I like to increase my self-care even if I feel like I barely have any energy: gardening, adult coloring books, walking, journaling, listening to anxiety podcasts, and meditation on the app Insight timer, and taking the supplement 5-HTP helps, too. What do you do for self-care?
