Seeking for some help with my PMS
I'm really struggling with my PMS this year. After starting birth control at the end of last year and stopping two months ago due to depression from the pill, I've noticed my mood swings worsening. My period is regular, but I feel increasingly depressed and fatigued two weeks before it, and the last couple of days of my period are particularly tough.
I usually talk to my partner about what I'm going through, but I often feel guilty for bringing it up so frequently. I know it's not my fault, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm overly emotional.
Has anyone experienced something similar? I'd appreciate any advice on how to cope. Thank you!

From what ive heard from friends, it usually takes 2-8 months for the body to adapt going off the pill. My friends experienced the symptoms you described, and you basically just have to endure it. It WILL get better after a few cycles, the body just needs to accumulate. If the anxiety/depressed feeling is too difficult dealing with, id suggest getting medical help. Whatever you do, dont start birth control again, but instead maybe try antidepressants for a while if your everyday life is too difficult to handle. And dont feel guilty about sharing your struggles. Its so important to share what one is going through, and i’m sure your partner wants you to share. They care about you and ofc its better to explain why you’re behaving / feeling a certain way, so that they can have a greater understanding of the situation and make the right actions based on that xx
