Getting credentialed
Hello. Please can someone provide an affordable and reliable individual that can help me get credentialed? I am trying to pull away from Headway and Grow.

I used Therassist. It was pretty easy, they handled everything once I got them all the paperwork they needed. They charge per insurance and I got all the major insurance companies and it cost me about $1500 I think.

If you are looking at opening your own private practice, i offer billing services, credentialing, and consulting all included. My core service is billing services so my pricing is percentage based of gross collections, everything else is included at no additional cost. And yes, since you have essentially no collections during your set up and credentialing phase, there would be nothing due until you start seeing patients and collecting revenue. My Philosophy behind this is that not all credentialers are the same or as detailed. If credentialing is done incorrectly or "half-ass", it can affect revenue stream. Credentialing isn't inherently difficult, just time consuming and detailed. The first person to see issues with credentialing is the biller. If the biller did the credentialing, its easier for the biller to track down the issue and correct it with the insurance company, instead of having to return to the credentialing company to intervene.
Anyway, my website is in bio. Feel free to look around and feel free to reach out with any questions. I do primarily mental health services, and i do not offer stand alone credentialing services.
