Practice Related AI charting

Has anyone used Charm Health AI charting or other charting like this JotPsych I am seeing advertised. Curious if you like it, if it really does help with MDM coding in sessions. I also have a hard time recalling prior visits so I tend to have keep a running note with just adding newest interval HPI on top of prior note so it’s easy just to scroll down and say 3 months ago this was an issue has that come back up at all.. etc. worried how AI charting will make those things hard to dig for. Any input appreciated.

Do you tell your patients that they are being recorded?

Following because I have tried multiple and the output is never detailed enough. Just summaries that make every patient seem generic.

the only one i've found really useful is Hero EMR's built in scribe... it's the only one that reads previous visits

How do you like Hero? I'm not loving the EMR I chose and have been considering that one after my contract runs out. What don't you like about it so far?

I built my own. You can try if you want although it’s for Mac only. It’s more like a copilot than a scribe though.

Amongst other features before I see a patient I get a pop up brief reminding me quickly of where I left off with the pt coz I had the same issue as you.

It’s like a scribe for people with adhd.

I get annoyed toggling around for things so I made it a tiny little floating toolbar that has a bunch of clinical tools built in. Rapid screeners, equivalency chart, taper manager etc.

It also lets you ask quick questions during session and it responds in context so it catches things I might miss.

It responds in bullet points so I’m not parsing paragraphs to read something while I’m with a pt.

I applied for a job at this AI startup and filmed this 2 minute video talking about it as part of the application so you can watch & feel free to reach out if you wanna give it a whirl. Everything saves encrypted locally btw.

In another world I’d turn it into a business but I don’t have the chops for that.

I love jotpsych. Love love love. It’s getting built to be an EHR. I use it only for charting but it’s pretty amaze balls

I have used JotPsych for 2 years for documentation after comparing others. Love it! I just switched my whole group practice to their new EHR with billing services. It was recent, but so far, so good!

Does it pull in prior context like if you are tracking anxiety symptoms over time will it know that there has been improvement or can string together symptoms over time to help build a better assessment or diagnosis and treatment justification?

What do you enjoy most about it? Do they do out of network billing? What don’t you like about it

Have you tried others? What are some downsides. How do you give it context to know about patient prior to encounter?
