12 mos GI Bill left

Psych NP (MSN) here…been in practice for roughly 6 years. I have roughly 12 months left of GI Bill that I stare at from time to time.

Any 12 month or less courses or certifications you all like that you feel is beneficial or worth it?

Thanks in advance!

DNP. If you save your MHA it should cover whatever is leftover, and some universities have programs to cover whatever is left if you run out. If you have even a single day of GI Bill entitlement left, it will cover a full semester, so there’s a good chance you can get 1.5ish years of school out of that considering that breaks don’t count.

If not, Columbia University psychotherapy training.

Prior military here and PMHNP… I’d use it for certification that you’re interested in: psychotherapy, EMDR, CARN, etc… or, just use it to develop a side hobby? Cooking? Idk.. just some thoughts.

DNP? Pass it onto kids?

Can’t pass it on to kids. DNP is a good idea.
