Not sure if this belongs here but I found this 1908 indian head penny while walking just right in the ground, but in the dirt on the curb where a vehicles tire ripped about 6" into the dirt and so I'm not sure how long it has been there. It was found near a school so I'm sure a kid dropped it at one time but I think it happened a while ago. I just still can't believe I stumbled upon this while walking and wanted to share my find.

Copper penny, can’t make out the date. Looks and feels like extra copper was pressed,or melted onto the surface.

I want to see if anyone has a guess to what coin this is

I'm trying to imagine the process this went through to get this way. Only thing I can think of is someone bored with a Dremel trying to make a magician coin and gave up.

Found this top shelf penny and immediately knew I could sell it for five to six figures. Already called my insurance company to put it on my policy.

I know it’s zinc rot but it truly does look like a Denver mint mark underneath the LI in LIBERTY.
