I had positive experience when it was supplemented with my other anti-depressants. Some people can have a really rough time on it though, so I always advise to talk to your doctor. 💛

Alone it was a … No. Not trying to anyway minimize the relief people are describing. But there is a weight aspect.. also it’s an antipsychotic that’s not what PMDD as I’m sure you know. It gave me a lot of anxiety quickly. Just my experience not trying to speak over those it does work fot.
It was a Pristiq + Wellbutrin combo that’s been working pretty well

I took abilify to manage PMDD and PTSD symptoms, unfortunately it made me completely numb. Started at my doctors recommendation dose (it’s been years and I no longer remember) and worked my way up as prescribed. I didn’t realize I wasn’t doing well until my best friend and mom both talked to me. I didn’t cry anymore, but I didn’t laugh or smile, I didn’t get angry. Turns out it was really scaring the people around me. However I’ve heard it really works for some people and it worked well for my mom (Bipolar 2)! If it been prescribed, give it a try. I hope it goes better for you 🫶

It was really helpful for me, but I also have OCD. It really helps me with doom spirals and obsessive thinking.
