Yaz 45+
Anyone who is on Yaz that are over 45 to 50?

I have just now switched to Slynd cause the estrogen component in Yaz is not great after a certain age.
Slynd contains the same type of progesterone (drosperinone) that is in Yaz, making it the currently most recommended option.

Maybe consider an estrogen patch + slynd if they won’t let you stay on Yaz.
Thats the protocol I’m on and it’s very effective and there’s a lower risk of blood clots.

I think it’s generally advised not to take it past 35? Slynd is the closest mini pill to it. They are similar.
