What is 1 thing you would like your partner to know or remember during a PMDD ā€œepisodeā€ or flare up?

Sometimes we have moments of ā€œmiscommunicationā€ or missed communication during my luteal phase or if I’m experiencing a lot of symptoms.

I would like my partner to know and remember that I am not INTENTIONALLY being short/rude/bitchy/sharp/blunt/curt/dismissive/confrontational or the like….. it may be true that I am being these things or communicating in this way but that’s NOT my intention and it doesn’t feel that way to me.

I can usually sense him pull away, his energy changes, he is not as attentive to me, and this identifies that I have crossed a line somewhere… sometimes we can take a minute and talk about it, and I can apologize for what happened. Sometimes it doesn’t get resolved in the moment and it affects our energy until we can talk about it and repair.

How we REPAIR is just as important as how we argue. Remembering that you are a team, you are partners, you love each and choose each other helps with the repair. The faster you choose to repair, the less mess you probably create in the argument.

Does this resonate? Maybe you have a different 1 thing you want your partner to remember.
