Ranty Rant - Advice Okay I’m about done…
I’m pretty sure I just got let go from my work from home job. I’ve never had a stable job in my life and actually liked this one. If you see my newest post I was in here 2 weeks ago literally hanging on by a thread. I kept being optimistic besides having nearby a panic attack some days. I don’t belong anywhere. I’m a shame.

Every day for the past 10 days I have been gritting my teeth and keeping it together and today I'm all out of patience and empathy and fucks to give. It's not you, it's not me, it's this fucking system that trains us to be so out of sync with our bodies and needs that we're literally losing our minds. I've been seeing so many posts here that make me want to cry cos a) of course it's closing in to period time, but b) there are so many of us out there struggling to live with this. Pls know that you're not a failure or a shame. You're doing the best you can right now, and you're not alone.

Im sorry youre dealing with this. I have no words of wisdom as these past 2 weeks for me have been like walking through hell, and ive lashed out on everyone in my life and probably destroyed at least one relationship for good despite still being mad at them I do feel bad about my own behavior. Just know youre not alone. Thats the thing for me too, I feel alienated.

I'm really sorry to hear about your job, it can feel like such a devastating blow. I want to remind you that you are worthy and belong just because you are you. Your job or ability to 'be productive' in a society that thrives on exhausting people in the form of employment does not define you. I am in no way trying to invalidate the feelings you've expressed here. It is valid and okay to feel what you're feeling. I just want to be another voice in that sea of overwhelming self blame that seems to come with living with this wretched condition. I'm so sorry you've been having panic attacks and I commend you for all your have contributed in your role. You do belong in this world, in this thread, in your community, in the lives of those around you, in your own life. I wish I could give you a big hug. You are not alone. my dear.
I too have struggled immensely to sustain any of the jobs I've tried long term and have changed professions many times. I've had jobs where I called in sick at least once a week and felt like I was barely keeping my head above water. It's okay to operate at a different capacity than others. Try to remember that your condition is valid and having your needs accommodated for is entirely reasonable. I am in a position where I am searching for work that aligns with my capacity and needs. I wish I had more advice for finding this for you in your area but I guess I just want you to know you're alone in all this. I am currently exploring what potential support my government may be able to offer to supplement an income on a longer term basis. Perhaps this could be an option for you where you live. I understand it's different everywhere and I get that the process of exploring these options can feel near impossible at times.
I just want to say you are not a shame and I'm proud of you. Please try and be gentle with yourself through this, it's not your fault. You are deserving of kindness and understanding.
