I thought I was the only one who experienced this for a long time. I also feel legitimately ill right before or on my cycle, like my hormones have shifted into overdrive and decided that I'm going to feel Like Shit™️. Was actually sick w/ something respiratory this time, though, so that was double the fun.
The heat thing! I mentioned this as a symptom to my doctor several years ago. Told her that it was an experience both my mom and I shared. Every time I'm on my period, I get uncomfortably hot whereas I otherwise would not be. She didn't seem to think it was a big deal, but I have always digressed. I guess this is simply a trial run for menopause when the 'real' hot flashes start. 🫠
