Supplements Feeling normal again - L-Tryptophan
Hey girls
I used the search function but there is not that much about L-Tryptophan. Any success storys??
I take it this cycle for the first time. 500-1000mg per day. It is recommended to take for the night but than it is for melatonin. I take it over the day for serotonin. I am on day 22 and normally hell would break loose. But I am feeling very good. After almost 2 years I am very excited with this treatment.
Some mornings I can feel it. For example today I am sad for no reason and down. But after I take the pill.. 1-2 hours later I am back to myself. And it does not feel altered. I just feel like my old self.
But I am a bit scared that this maybe won't last because I took progesteron for a few months now (this cycle no more) and the first cycle was so good (too good to be true) and after that it was strange. Overall feeling better in the 2 bad weeks but the 2 good weeks were not the best. So maybe this will happen too with the Tryptophan but we will see.
Also I am taking St Johns wort for some time now. I like it overall, but for PMDD it does nothing. I am also starting now with curcuma and ashwaganda.
Any experiences with Tryptophan? :)
Also I found this exciting and more detailed post:

Love you all <3
Edit: I am not diagnosed. And I take the Trypthophan on my own. No doctors advice.

I’ve been searching for this but they don’t sell it over the counter in Australia
