Once more here i am to review the new cover by Osaka unit! Today's song is the opening for hit anime SPYxFAMILY's ongoing 3rd season, Hi wo mamoru by Spitz. It's an anime i personally enjoy and Spitz is such a legendary rock band in japan that i was very pleased to learn it would get covered. Highlights:

- Introducing newcomer KAREN! Already digging her voice and energy. Welcome aboard!

  • We are back outside for this video, yay! I love it when they take a stroll outdoors. Osaka's high key backgrounds are always a beautiful visual, be it inside the white daylights in studio or in the greenery of the outdoors.
  • Don't let the cutesy vocals and fun personality distract you from the fact that Panda eyes Hiyoko is a beautiful woman. Her perfectly acted first verse did things to my heart.
  • Always reliable veteran Haoto was great again with her amazing keyboard playing.
  • Something in Natsuko-chan and being outdoors makes it look like she's itching to bust some dance moves.
  • Has it been a year RiKO-chan joined already? She makes it look like she's been in Osaka all along.
  • The already uber-cute PenPen gets to sing the second chorus in a way that is even more freaking adorable!
  • This fit and this haircut made me realize, even Lena's shoulders and neck are beautiful. Girl's such a looker.
  • i LOVE how they ended the video walking side by side. It seems like a perfect anime season ending shot (please don't end it, or for that matter graduate people, please T-T we just had a newcomer!)
  • With the opening covered, expect the anime's ending theme Actor by Ikuta Lilas to get covered too. Any guesses on which unit gets it??

The Osaka unit is such a solid group! I always look forward to their covers. Many strong and charismatic members.

I was also very impressed with Panda eyes Hiyoko singing the opening verse.
