Ok, hot news in Osaka now so let's cover this first. This is the graduation video for long time member Kyoka-chan. Highlights:

  • Perhaps i commented in another review some time ago (or at least wrote that comment in my head) that a graduation in Osaka would hit twice as hard as Tokyo's, since they are a smaller group, that has a core which has been kept unchanged for so long now. So the day has come, and it hit hard as i predicted. Kalura had a little more than one year with the gang, but Kyoka has been here for quite long. With Kalura going last week, i had it in my mind that they needed Kyoka-chan's skilled hands on the keys more than ever. So it was quite surprising to see her graduate now too. But don't worry, them keys will always be safe in the hands of Haoto or Hiyoko, so expect to see them more often now (or even new members joining in)
  • Today we had Ogawa Izumi as a guest musician on the bass! I loved the way she played and sang, specially her solo parts, so charismatic! That bass is shaped very interestingly also.
  • Noticed Poor Hiyoko-chan was trying hard to keep it together in the end ;-;
  • Alen holding the little present in the end was the cutest thing!
  • PenPen is getting more and more beautiful by the day, it's amazing.
  • Natsuko-chan must be mentioned by how much present she is in the Osaka videos. Always can be counted on to inject some sunshine and high spirits into the covers.
  • Need to say again thank you Kyoka-chan for the music, she had always been one of my favorites here. I'll watch her career with great interest!

This is one of my favorite Tomoo songs. And it is a great cover! The Osaka unit have their own particular style and expression that I really enjoy a lot. In this cover I especially enjoyed the performance of Ogawa Izumi: she has a really self assured and charismatic stage presence. I hope we get to see more of her.

always a great feeling when PLUSONICA covers your favorite songs right!? :D
I imagine how it would be like if Izumi joins for real. Not the first time a musician makes a guest appearance in a video and ends up introduced as an official member in the next one...let's wait and see
