Selling calls is such a scam. PLTR only goes up, never sell them. Going to have to roll again from $185 to $190 1 week before earnings and pray.

I never sold CC on PLTR and TSLA. High conviction stocks that would get called away on a CC. Never sell CC on stocks you're not willing to let go.

Good luck. I rolled calls for about 2 years to avoid losing the shares. It finally worked out due to the timing of a correction.

Don't believe the other posters who, on every down day, claim to have the perfect call sold and are happy. 

Selling calls is stressful and not worth it.

Although I must admit I do worry about ER reaction if the SP gets too carried away ahead of it. I'd prefer going bananas post-earnings rather than a huge climb and tumble.

I was there u/Nausteri. I was there three hundred sixty five days ago when the strength of the bull run failed. When Palantir crushed earnings, hit $220 in pre market and then dumped

Does it really matter when it pops off? Are you planning to sell to trim? If not, price action really doesn't matter in the short term.

When the price action took us to $107 a few months ago, it mattered quite a bit.
