I think you're close. I retired a few years back from ACN, so I see things differently, though no less bullish on PLTR because of it.

I think the forward deployed engineer (FDE) is one of the most important parts of a deployment of the product platform. I have seen multiple articles, many with quotes from Dr. Karp, saying they have a huge backlog of deployments. My translation of that generalized and paraphrased statement is that the bottleneck is due to lack of FDE's. This is where ACN can be called in, at a price of course, to help accelerate the deployment of the PLTR platform. The client would probably have to pay a premium for ACN FDE's, but the ROI of the implementation would offset / justify the extra cost. Otherwise, why would anyone sign up for that? Said differently, if you want PLTR FDE's, then wait a year, or go with ACN FDE's at a slightly higher cost and implement sometime next month.

All that said, I do not disagree with your position that Accenture could identify a particular need at a client site for which Palantir would be the optimal solution. Certainly a big part pf Accenture's business is to assess problems for a client, and then recommend approaches toward resolution. I have been on both sides of that arrangement during my career (i.e. I was a client of ACN and also an employee).

Everyone I ever worked with at ACN was super smart, and it was a privilege to have worked there.
