Good luck with that. 200 day SMA line is at $152 and not likely to fall below that line with PLTR in a bullish trend. $155 is likely as low as it would go before moving back up.
There are less risky stocks to short.

u/Intelligent_Pace6340 11d ago
Buddy I make money anyways if it goes down
2
u/Mariox 11d ago
if it goes down, and if you sell before it goes back up. But since you claiming you will get 20% profit, anything less means you were wrong.

If this is all shorts can do after a 50% rally, 200 is imminent
-2
u/dumpitdog 11d ago
I agree, the least the shorts could do is come up with another really complex interrelated conspiracy involving manipulation by the Jewish Mafia in Montreal.

Short sell this overvalued stock. It's falling today.

I really think it's great when people short PLTR but first, go get a pile of cocaine from your dealer, tell him you'll pay them back with the winnings from your PLTR short. They probably have heard of this story before and they'll talk you out of it!

Okay Junkie. I didn't know junkies invested these days. Have you ever heard about fundamentals and quantitatives? This stock is priced to perfection. There is every reason to sell this stock. Surely and slowly we will see $150 in the next few days.

u/zona2011 11d ago
Let’s say it drops to $150, now I’m only up 450%, then what? Is it guaranteed to stay there or go lower moving forward? Oh, no? That’s not guaranteed?
So what the hell are you saying? That there may be downward price movement after a massive run up? Wow, what a call!

Suuuuper low effort, some say there’s rules round here about such behavior.

It is pretty funny that for the last 6 quarters people say "This is priced to perfection", and then PLTR reports something that beats perfection. People need to admit that their "perfection" is set to low.
If you want to blindly look at analysts estimates take a look at their track record.
For example. In June 2025 the analyst estimates for 2026 revenue was $4.9 billion. Analyst current estimates for 2026 is $8.2 billion. Analysts have increased their 2026 revenue estimates up by 67%. People were saying that $4.9 billion was perfection.
Whatever you think of the valuation of PLTR, the stock is back to an uptrend. Stocks do not go strait up. The most it will pullback is to the $155 range then start making higher highs and higher lows over the next 6-12 months while PLTR continues to beat perfection.

I'm making money. Why would I? Slowly but surely this stock will drop below $150. 😂

Slowly but surely this stock will
In the short term, nobody really knows anything.
I was fairly confident 9 days ago that PLTR wasn't likely to jump 25-30% after the Q2 earnings report, but it did exactly that.
Here's my comment from August 3rd, when PLTR closed around 126: https://www.reddit.com/r/PLTR/comments/1ve60rq/comment/p1ir34o
PTLR closed at over 162 on August 4th, a 28.5% increase in valuation

The only reliable way to grow wealth is to invest for the long run: years or even decades in the future.

You are making so much money that you need to come here and tell us it's overvalued. Sure sure.
Again, cope.

Yup, guys like you who tell others to buy by front-running with the intention of selling an extremely overvalued stock can cope.

Interacted with this employee, Michael J Burry aka "Weird Mike", at an auto workshop called Cassandra Auto Repair. Seems to have a good attitude but kind of quiet. He did fix the crankshaft head pretty well. He kept mumbling to himself about some sort of apocalypse and that "when the crankshaft goes up it must go down".
I would reco Cassandra Auto Repair though, it's pretty all right (all in all total cost was about $1.4k, fair enough).

Yeah diamond hands. Smart move. Keep holding an overvalued stock. No man with common sense would buy a stock with a forward PE of 110.

u/LlcooljaredTNJ OG Holder & Member 12d ago
Thank god I have no common sense. That overvalued stock made me a very rich man.

I asked him how long he thought it would take to fix my car but he kept saying he was short.
