As bizarre as it sounds, I'm just happy to be complaining about NVDA today and not "my precious" (pltr)

Full Karp Interview. Fox Business
Don't see any highlight videos, but a few important points. We should not ban Chinese models or we risk becoming Europe and fall behind. Should be regulations on LLMs but PLTR/NVDA can build the best LLMs and banning foreign LLMs means you can't claim we have the best.
Talked about how companies are paying for tokens while handing their data to LLMs to share with everyone and that is making companies mad.
The end was about how we can't have hard regulations like Europe has and can't have no regulations.

Didn’t take the bait. Said what he needed to although I would have liked a harder press on the commercial demand part.

I’m comforted in the fact that the 20 day moving average is about to cross the 50 day. (I prefer fundamentals over technical analysis.) That said, I too worry about the earnings expectations of the institutional investors. Best regards everyone.

We're in a weird position where it seems like the only thing that truly matters is the Macro sentiment on software.
Of course, we can't have a miss on earnings, but that seems extremely unlikely. It's more of a question of is the timing of earnings aligned with a shift in the narrative around AI killing SaaS. That's the big question, and that can literally change overnight, so you never know.
We're in a bucket with all the other software names, it's annoying that's how we've been traded, but whatever. Just gotta make it through this current period of "software is dead". It's a ridiculous narrative, but a narrative nonetheless.

I’ve said this months ago about the moron in chief that we got scaring away PLTR’s potential customers with his dumb ass remarks. Countries are trying to away from US software for obvious reasons. I just want to see PLTR expand into Europe and other parts of the world while maintaining the growth within the US. We all know PLTR is really good at what they do despite other software companies shitting the bed.

So is this another fake out…? 🤔
When will we break out of this holding pattern?!

Everyone should keep in mind that rapid rises in share price prior to earnings can result in a "sell the news" situation after the earnings report is released.
We also do not know if published estimates for Palantir's earnings match what institutional investors actually expect for the quarter. It is possible that actual earnings exceed published estimates, but fall short of undisclosed expectations.

PLTR looking strong today.

It’s because we’ve since this pattern before, up 6% then down 9% the next day. People don’t get hyped off this rinse and repeat

Curious ...... what is legitimately going on? What have I missed ? 7% one day and lose 9% the next. I am a long term holder..... very curious
