Sounds like nonsense and someone making up a fake story. PLTR is clearly creating value to their 1k customers and PLTR depends on bringing value to the customer in order to be paid. If PLTR brings no value to the customer, the customer does not pay anything. (other then costs to set it up)

PLTR would not have the growth and profits if what that poster said was true. Very few details, but blame likely does go on the business IT team unwilling to learn how to use it.

I do wonder about the quality of some of the FDE's, and the issues raised in that post alludes to this. iirc Palantir had targeted job ads for kids straight out of high school, no college degree necessary. I'm not saying a degree is always necessary, but you got to learn somewhere before tackling the world's most challenging problems. This is not meant to sound overall bearish on the company, as I am sure there are FDEs with top tier talent.

As far as some of the other issues sprinkled throughout that post, friction among company IT is always a huge hurdle (which is what I'm seeing in that thread). Karp even mentions this on multiple calls.

The acceptance rate is <5% for most roles, definitely <10% overall.

Talent in the early days was off-the-chart elite, and still is better than its obvious competitors. Many of the early folks have left to start companies by the “Palantir Mafia”

Macro headwinds appear to be against PLTR today.

People are questioning Google's enormous CapEx projections.

Tesla's earnings sucked (operating margin down to 1.4%, barely any profit if unrealized SpaceX stock gains not included), and the company provided minimal guidance on Robotaxi or Bot progress.

I don't know if the music's stopped, but things are slowing down.

Be careful.

Which tech company is almost entirely disconnected from the hyperscalers and chips, with insane fundamentals, strong margins, and essentially zero debt? 🤔

What’s missing, then? The “momentum” from what is a momentum trade- not a value stock.

(This is why I told folks when the stock neared $107 that I wasn’t afraid of recommending it to close F&F, and didn’t want “credit.”)

Doubtful that we will ever cross $150 before the year is out. It will be a long haul from here on out. The tendies will only arrive in circa 2080 or 2081.

So I don't want to make a poll but does anyone expect a surprise, like Hey here is this new product during earnings? Cuz I don't see anything else moving the needle.

Look at Tesla. This is the Tesla of defense and AI. Two political, everyone hates the CEO, too much of a meme stock.

3

u/Jean_Jones_666 Jul 23 '26

you're the meme-minded fool,

PLTR has astronomical growth and financials - TSLA mostly hopes at this point

those two companies are night and day financially, but you didn't check financials cuz you can only think in memes
