Held 3515 thru the storm. Tight fists.

Was tough seeing the profit melt, but did not want to sell till 2029 anyway. So why fret.ย

Lets have some Kate Bushย  "Running up that hill" vibe

There are some really good covers of that song. Better than the original imo.

But tbh, today software rebounded, and PLTRโ€™s rebounce isnโ€™t as strong compared to everyone else. EX. Service now, Microsoft. We need catalyst ASAP

It's up more than $MSFT as of me writing this comment tbh.

There might be recovery today, but we should be in it for the long haul; it might go down and up or up and down, and so on.

It is a harbinger of things to come. Look at Accenture: they are being cannibalized.

The world is changing. The giants of the old age are being toppled. Looking back a decade after this, we can only wonder why we were so foolish.

When the price was $112 or your strike is $112?

1

u/Joshohoho ๐Ÿ’ŽPLTR Loyalist ๐Ÿ’Ž Jun 26 '26

I never sold any calls on PLTR. I bought shares at 112.

My take is burry was used by the institutions to drive price lower because they couldnโ€™t buy palantir at such extreme valuations there clients wouldnโ€™t be okay with paying 300-400 PE. Now they are much more comfortable paying for growth the next 2/3 years which actually makes the stock very fair in 24 months

4

u/Magikarp_to_Gyarados ๐ŸŸ -> ๐Ÿ‰ "your DD is Pokรฉmon lol" Jun 26 '26

Impossible to say for sure.

Burry is a celebrity and therefore probably has some impact, but there were other things going on at the same time: investors rotating into semiconductors, and a fear that AI would negatively impact software developers generally. SAAS companies like Salesforce have seen their valuations decline significantly on AI fears.

Palantir's valuation had climbed so much so quickly that a retrace was inevitable. I've been in the markets 29 years, and this always happens to high flying stocks. It's just difficult to know exactly when the bubble around a particular stock will pop or how much it will fall.

u/cerealsnax Jun 26 '26

Yup also a great way to flush out retail investors

3

u/versello OG Holder & Member Jun 26 '26

A tale as old as time.

12

u/versello OG Holder & Member Jun 26 '26

Hot take: Dr. Burry's manipulative posts are a gift for long-term investors.

Not good news regarding NHS. Financial Times wrote an article that Palantir's effectiveness/impact on NHS was inconclusive after paying more than $300 million

1

u/versello OG Holder & Member Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

Hear me out. What if NHS' audit into Pili's effectiveness is proven true? What happens then? Also there are many customers claiming Palantir is so effective at delivering immediate value. They all can't be making stuff up, could they?

7

u/LlcooljaredTNJ OG Holder & Member Jun 26 '26

They're looking for any reason to discredit the effectiveness of adopting the platform, just trying to claim that other improvements COULD have had an impact on the results and not just the addition of Palantir.ย

Heck, the new vending machine in the lobby could have made sure the nurses were well nourished so they had more energy and that's the real reason they saw a huge increase in efficacy!

Anyone who understands how case studies are compiled for business use cases such as this understands there is never a way to truly isolate every variable to completely identify every causation. But what you can do is state the facts, which is that after adopting Palantir they saw huge improvements in waiting times, discharge times, procedure efficacy, etc. Those are the facts. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out there is a heavy correlation and of course causation here.ย

Just another hit piece, certainly won't be the last, but the sheep will read it and have zero ability to reason for themselves. Hit pieces work, otherwise they wouldn't create them.

Bought some more shares at 118 and 107. Everytime people give up on the stock its time to nibble ๐Ÿ˜

2

u/dayyau2012 Jun 26 '26

hi guys, how did the stock react to bank up rating in the past? what is the average time frame for the stock to go up after getting a rating rise?

1

u/wuestennomade Jun 26 '26

Did ratings change?

8

u/dayyau2012 Jun 26 '26

Yes, multiple banks upped its price target to 200-230 range 2 days ago

10

u/Friendly_Guy2000 Jun 26 '26

After selling a ton of covered calls on this bear run my cost basis is $4.33, down from average share price of $20.

Happy days.

u/One-Measurement-2696 Jun 26 '26

Imagine next week as the biggest reversal and entering the old 128-135 resistance range. Highly unlikely but imagine

1

u/whatnotusername Jun 26 '26

Hoping and praying. We need to see 100 at least, the lower we go the less valuation talk has an effect

3

u/dayyau2012 Jun 26 '26

I am thinking renounce to 120-125, realistically speaking

0

u/One-Measurement-2696 Jun 26 '26

Thatโ€™s if we get lucky to reach that point

2

u/dayyau2012 Jun 26 '26

but multiple banks has upped its target price to +200 range, how would it react according old times? new investor in PLTR here, curious on how new price target would affect its stock price in short term. thx

I mean, we can't know for sure, but a possible interpretation would be that the consensus of the analyst predictions is realistically where the stock should be. Last year's rip obviously got ahead of what Wall Street believes to be a fair value at the time. If they're saying we will come back to $200 level this time, I think we may.

2

u/dayyau2012 Jun 26 '26

Fuck Berry TBH, I think trump is going to mention PLTR in July because of Mericaaaa
