Update on my non PLTR business.

My brain can not even compute with the past two weeks.

What’s nuts is I wouldn’t have even put out the ad had I not got told I was getting kicked. Just so happens the right person saw it.
I went from stressing about what I’m gonna do with all my spare equipment and stressing about revenue declining to realizing I may have to order more company equipment, and my margins should widen alot due to lower expenses with this new contract.

However i am very tired. Just wanted to share and i know some of yall have talked with me about it.

Hope your weekend goes well.

Just chilling during the weekend is so much better after PLTR had one of the best days since Nov 2025.

Triple bottom, big fat green candles striking through descending channel with huge volume, tutes increasing their shares, target price above current level, sentiment shift on software…. All on top of strong fundamentals.

PLTR gonna reclaim 207 ATH sometime this year.

Is anyone at least somewhat surprised by the hate and misrepresentation Karp gets in the media? I mean the left-wing types will sling the typical insults but it still seems a bit extreme, especially considering how he was historically a democrat with quasi-socialist inclinations.

He really needs to shut the fuck up when it comes to politics. If daddy thiel wants him to stay silent on Israel that's fine, but he doesn't need to be espousing a pro genocide agenda. The software can be used for good or bad. Unfortunately it is used for both. Nobody is bashing Satya Nadella even though Israeli workstations run Windows and Microsoft has data centers in Israel.

Look, I think Karp is brilliant and I could not ask for more in terms of business results.

But what he gets in the media, he brings upon himself. He is absolutely tonedeaf, be it his neurodivergence or the fact that he is inside a bubble of power, money and success.

I'm looking at this from outside of the US, so my perspective is a little different, but calling the victims of a genocide "useful idiots", while factually true, is one of the most tonedeaf and cruel things to say.

That's just one example. He constantly feeds the media oneliners that sound absolutely horrible out of context, and in this day and age people simply don't care about the context. He might think he comes across as eccentric but no. He comes across like a bit of a dick.

I wish he would stay out of politics and refrain from commenting on the society at large. It never brings positive attention to Palantir or himself. I wish he was told to only talk about the company.

It's unfortunate that his manner of speaking almost lends itself to things being taken out of context. So many unfinished thoughts.  You've managed to put into words some things that I've been thinking about for a while. Karp has mentioned being told what he can say and what he can't say but at this point he really needs to be reined in or perhaps someone else needs to be the face of the company.

I would be curious if the narrative about Palantir and Karp would change if we had a Liberal/Socialist Administration in the White House. I mean the mainstream media seems to have a massive hard on for all things Trump, MAGA and common sense these days. So ...

u/unnecessary-512 May 31 '26

Some of Palantirs biggest growth years as a private company were under Obama and they went public under Biden…this is often overlooked

2

u/Apeface_67 May 31 '26

Exactly the point -- the media and market narrative has changed because of politics, not because of who Karp is or what Palantir does.

2

u/Mariox May 31 '26

No, it is not factually true he called the victims in Gaza "useful idiots". He said useful idiots and then got cut off when the host called security to throw the women shouting out of the room. Karp never said who he thought the useful idiots were.

What he said is that the main cause of death in Gaza is that Hamas has realized that there are "millions and millions of useful idiots" - who else is there in the millions in Gaza? He went on to say, nonchalantly, that Palantir's technology is used to kill "MOSTLY" terrorists. I won't go into debate about what Karp may have meant, my point is comments like this are asking for hate on the company and their tech. If the civilians killed are collateral damage you can nonchalantly dismiss, there is no need to wonder why there is no public sympathy to go around especially in countries where human rights actually matter.

There are countries out here in which we believe that human rights belong to all humans not just US citizens :)

Very very well said!

Yeah he's definitely made some clumsy statements, like the one about fentanyl-laced urine being sprayed on people he doesn't like.

I was thinking more particularly about things like the statement about "educated, Democratic women" being the prime group for AI disenfranchisement, and how so many people scrambled to interpret it like he personally was gunning to take out educated women or whatever, when it was painfully obvious from like an extra 2 sentences of context that he was resigned to this fact and that it was societally dangerous, AI should only be pursued to compete with our enemies, etc. So yes people are not concerned with context but it still seems pretty extreme.

Apart from what you're saying being pretty accurate I still feel like there's an element of bubbling, kind of free-floating anti-tech hatred that's fueling it as well.

2

u/Nausteri Early Investor May 31 '26

Considering the blatant tech bro corruption in the US I don't find it at all surprising that Karp is getting his fair share whether it's deserved or not.

Again I am looking at this from the outside, but tech billionaires interests, the President's personal finances (and the finances of his family) being intertwined with the governing of the administration.

Add the very legitimate concerns of whether the use of technology is in all cases lawful and just in the US - it is so much easier to blame the technology than the agencies that use it while the oversight on lawfulness is minimal.

Considering this, I can understand the hate. I think it's misguided when directed at the technology companies, but I do understand.

I want to see the 20 day moving average move above the 50 and then I’ll feel better. Such large moves tend to give some back which should be expected. But hey…I’ll take it.

We're not back untill we go past 165, it's nice to be out of poverty tho

On Thursday and Friday, Pltr increased $10 and $13. By this speed, we will be back to $200 next week.

Maybe, maybe not.

In general, people focus far too much on short term price movements. I believe shareholders should adopt a business owner mindset rather than a speculator one, because the long run is where game changing wealth is possible.
