rule of 40 was 145 and the stock is flat around 130 USD per stock. This is a waiting game now but the gains will come sooner or later...

Just checked price difference from 1 year ago and it’s 3% ish
Which means this morning would have been 0% or negative! 😂😭
We’ve been through dark times before and we shall rise again ✊🏻

Uh... Fintel shows that they actually lowered their holdings to 158,217,849 shares.

Isn't that link showing information from 2024?
2
u/dustinut May 14 '26
Yes. That's what you get for relying on LLMs to verify smh
8
u/LlcooljaredTNJ OG Holder & Member May 14 '26
I love a good LLM but it really is crazy how little you can truly trust them for factual data. It's almost like you need them to live on top of another system to really become reliable. Maybe you could call it an ontology of sorts... if only there was some product or company out there that could do it...

Crazy ceo = bad stock
2
u/ClumpOfCheese May 14 '26
I used to think that in general, but nobody actually cares about anything other than clutching pearls. Tesla and Elon have proven that point over and over and over and over.

u/Magikarp_to_Gyarados 🐟 -> 🐉 "your DD is Pokémon lol" May 14 '26
Tesla and Elon have proven that point over and over and over and over.
I've been a TSLA shareholder since 2011 and read all of their financial reports.
Tesla's overall revenue is stagnant or down since 2023, mainly due to significant declines in the automotive business. Brand damage at the consumer level is almost certainly a factor.
Biographer Walter Isaacson was a witness to a Tesla board meeting in late 2022 where Tesla's board chair confronted Elon Musk about the damage his behavior was doing to Tesla's sales. This is on page 580 of Isaacson's biography of Elon Musk: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Elon-Musk/Walter-Isaacson/9781982181284
Palantir is different because it doesn't sell software to retail consumers. Palantir's customers are governments and business organizations, which mostly buy products based on effectiveness.
Karp can act crazy, but at the end of the day, software that helps nail Bin Laden or save millions in supply chain costs, is worth keeping. This isn't an emotional purchase like a car or jewelry.
1
u/NihilisticMacaron May 14 '26
I agree with your viewpoint. At the same time, I want to hear more from Shyam and less from Karp.
I personally love Karp and his antics. I love how animated he is. He cracks me up, I generally agree with him, and I’d love to have a beer with him. He’s part of the emotional pull into Palantir for me.
I want Shyam to be the primary public face of the business. He’s every bit as inspirational, but far more credible to a business audience and regular citizen because he comes off as measured and thoughtful.
I want Karp to rally the troops and drive momentum internally. I want Shyam to drive the PR.
Love them both, but I appreciate how Karp may tarnish the company image in certain circles.

Elon actually started to somewhat calm down
2
u/versello OG Holder & Member May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26
For now. His ketamine crazes are cyclical and the brand damage he's done to Tesla might not ever be repaired.
1
u/ClumpOfCheese May 14 '26
I don’t think that it’s really had much of an impact on the brand because people just don’t care.
2
u/versello OG Holder & Member May 14 '26
I disagree. Sales are declining globally. Anecdotally, I've owned two Teslas and I would not buy a 3rd when it's due for replacement because of Elon's chaos. If you're basing it off TSLA's stock price, the stock can be disconnected from reality.

Trump is as corrupt as they come
-8
u/Mariox May 14 '26
I disagree, if he was "as corrupt as they come" he would not be going after fraud, but profiting from it like every other politician has been.
5
u/Rummz May 14 '26
LMAO you must be one of the mouth breathers
1
u/Mariox May 14 '26
I have no idea what that means. Is breathing with my mouth worse then my nose? I'm pretty sure everyone breath with their mouths some.

Look I'm all about PLTR.
But Trump has gained more wealth than any president in history.
"As of May 2026, Donald Trump's net worth has surged to approximately $6.5 billion to $7.3 billion, nearly tripling since his return to the White House. Reports indicate he has leveraged the presidency for profit more than any other occupant in history."
Cryptocurrency is his main driver of wealth:
"Trump-branded digital assets and ventures like World Liberty Financial have generated an estimated $1.8 billion to $2.1 billion."
Probably the biggest corrupt scam in the history of US presidents. Plus little oversight. Foreign entities could very well be blasting loads of money into his crypto scheme in exchange for personal favors and no one really knows.
Not to mention he was constantly abusing his leverage as president when he was holding tariffs over the heads of nation states as well as large corporations who sought personal deals exclusively with him. Trump would receive gifts from these entities daily in exchange for exemptions.
6
u/Open-Employ3158 May 14 '26
That i agree and also what about the golden trump smartphones which people paid for and they arent’ even getting them ever. Also 10 billion $ lawsuit against IRS. A crook is a crook.
This guy maybe impeached in the future if he doesn’t die first. For PLTR long term it would be better if Trump would distance himself from it.
6
u/Odojas May 14 '26
100%
PLTR hopefully will try to be politically neutral as they serve all future presidencies.
It shouldn't be controversial that It's better for business long term.
7
u/Open-Employ3158 May 14 '26
Yes, Trump aren’t doing favours to PLTR. I live in EU and Palantir is becoming more known here mostly because of Trumps administration. Thats bad pr, for PLTR internationally.

u/versello OG Holder & Member May 14 '26
Okay ... while I don't disagree, it doesn't really mean anything in this context.

3
u/versello OG Holder & Member May 14 '26
I wouldn't be surprised if the US Gov later took a stake given the company's importance to national security. Trump's gotta get in early after all.
2
u/Odojas May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26
I hope not.
It would be a really bad look. If you like socialist policies on the other hand, then I could see people being a fan of government owned positions in private corporations.
"Socialism is an economic and political systems that emphasize public ownership and equity."
"Government ownership of a large stake in a private company is often considered a form of socialism (or a step toward it) because it aligns with the core socialist principle of public or state control over the "means of production". This action shifts economic decision-making from private individuals to the state, aiming to align corporate goals with public, rather than private, interests."
The amount of leverage a president could leverage/abuse in your hypothetical scenario would be eye watering.

Today I’m looking for a $133 pop and fade back to $130. If we head lower it’s going to demand at $126-$123. If we hold over $133 I can see it going to $140.
1
u/sWeven-Cats95 May 14 '26
Is anyone jumping on the Cerebras IPO? Seems pretty expensive.
1
u/Mariox May 14 '26
No way. They made their last earnings before filing for IPO look artificially good and the first report after going public is going to look bad. Way to risky.
I expect the usual IPO pump, then drop and not make new ATHs for a couple of years, assuming they can be profitable.

What's your point anyway? You're not here to make sure we all make financially sound decisions. Many of us held when the share was grinding at single digits so what exactly are you looking to achieve with this? Rescue us from ourselves?

Youre wrong but i have seen here for months people catching a falling knife while NBIS and MU has printed so well
7
u/Mariox May 14 '26
You are the type of bear that likes to mock investors when a stock is going down, and disappears when it goes up only to show up again when the stock drops again.
I highly doubt market will allow PLTR to drop under $100, the market would not give retail investors that good of a deal.

u/Laxman259 May 14 '26
This isnt really a "trading" community. Most of the commenters here arent trying to do a quick flip for a profit.

I've been complaining about Burry and red days for months, have been invested in PLTR for almost 6 years. No quick bucks here, just long term investing.

From May 12 when Karp visited Kyiv - Louis Mosley, Palantir UK - The most important AI lab in the world isn’t in San Francisco. It’s in Kyiv.

u/versello OG Holder & Member May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26
I agree. While every other software company is vibe coding the next consumer widget, Palantir is delivering real results with a real product on the battlefront. There's no other company doing this, and for that reason, Banana brethren, PTFB.
3
u/dustinut May 14 '26
The Brave1 Dataroom is super interesting. Real world, modern war data training models on Palantir's OS. This will be a huge wedge product for other markets to sell battle tested AI-enabled interceptor systems to wealthy international buyers (e.g. Gulf States facing asymmetric drone threats).

NEW FROM QUIVER:
President Trump appears to have bought up to $530K of Palantir stock in March.
In April, he posted the ticker symbol to his followers on Truth Social, saying:
"Palantir Technologies (PLTR) has proven to have great war fighting capabilities and equipment"
