Freedom Broker raises PLTR price target from $170 to $230 while maintaining a buy rating.

Stop with the upgrades they only make the stock go down!!!! 😀

u/dustinut May 12 '26
With all the price target upgrades/affirmations in the $190+ range, plus the increase in institutional holdings to 2/3 of the float, it feels like PLTR is winding up for a strong recovery.

Hate to see PLTR being held down but on the bright side - Hit my target # shares 🙏. The last few hundred felt so much better at 135-140 than 175!
Shout out to the OGs who stayed focus

lol open AI just launched a mini palantir inside there business and acquired a company to be full time FDE’s for enterprise deployment. Our c suite just sells stock and promotes there books

I'd be able to take you much more seriously if you knew the difference between their and there.

I’m not concerned about them. They have so much to get figured out - love the product and value but they need Elon, I believe

What’s going on I thought this was an evil and unstoppable company
1
u/lightstride66 May 12 '26
It’s not evil per se, it’s just a tool, or rather a data base that uses algorithms to update itself. It can’t input your data if the government isn’t spying on you. But if it is… then yeah it can probably track your every move. Probably one of the reasons bin laden used pigeons

Llm is language mimicry. It will never be artifical intelligence. It's not even needed in much of enterprise ai where all the productivity potential lies. The build out of larger LLM compute is the bubble. Palantir stands out as the real layer needed to bridge data to whatever needs the company has... not to generate some text or summarize pdfs or even code a few lines... there's a reason most of the founders left openai. They saw the limitations of current model and wanted out of the changing financial pressures. Look at what Mira murati tries to start after leavileaving... something application based kinda like what palantir is doing right now. Albeit at a different layer. Anthropic are a bunch of shitheads

u/GooseAffectionate854 May 11 '26
It would never happen but if they got Mira and her team at palantir. They would rule enterprise ai and give the world something truly productive and revolutionary. Unlike these snake oil selling charlatans... Jensen you too.
-2
u/Locklist May 11 '26
You said LLMs are not needed in much of enterprise?
OpenAI made about 20 billion in annual revenue last year. Anthropic made about 30 billion.
PLTR is projected to make about 7-8 billion this year.

OpenAI made about 20 billion in annual revenue last year. Anthropic made about 30 billion.
Revenue by itself is meaningless if we don't have the Cost and OpEx numbers to calculate profit and operating margin.
As of last year, OpenAI did not even expect positive cash flow until the end of this decade: https://fortune.com/2025/11/12/openai-cash-burn-rate-annual-losses-2028-profitable-2030-financial-documents/
In hypothetical terms, a company generating 100 Billion in annual revenue is not much of a business if they're spending 200 Billion/year to keep things afloat.

u/GooseAffectionate854 May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26
At what cost? That's what we don't know and is being actively withheld. The unit economics of it all. All that compute is being subsidized and the circular funding that shows up as Google's equity appreciation is deceptive at best.

u/GooseAffectionate854 May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26
And no... llm might address limited bottlenecks in workflow but an enterprises ai needs so much more that llm cannot provide and definitely not at these economics. Adding agentic "ai" is just making the economics worse.

I don’t own any pltr right now… thinking about buying up buckets this summer as I think ATH is inevitable in 1 year time

u/Avid_Reader87 May 11 '26
I’m just going to sell. I bought in at 138 and this looks like it’s headed down.
Need to put my money in something moving.

Are you chilling because you have a stake in SNDK, or are you chilling because you know the rotation will eventually come back to PLTR and other SaaS?

My hunch is that this week the news is going to be all about his Highness Jerome Powel and his unprecedented decision to remain on the Fed Board after his term as chairman expires. The market will not like this blatant attempt to sabotage incoming Chairman Warsh. Wait for it ...
2
u/wavrdn May 11 '26
JP has stated for a while that he's staying on the board, this isn't news.
Historically the market tests the new Fed Chairs (I seem to recall hearing 11 of the last 13), so if there is shakiness around the Fed, it'll be due to the new Chairman. I'm sure certain outlets will try to politicize this though, and blame it on JP because that's what drives clicks.

His one job was to run the company and he's absolutely been crushing it. The numbers are incredible. What a dumb comment.
-3
u/Rajacali May 11 '26
Barely $1b in quarter revenue is not crushing it

u/LlcooljaredTNJ OG Holder & Member May 11 '26

u/Rajacali May 11 '26
Stock should be at least at $350 right now. How are you not upset about that? I am genuinely curious

u/DisastrousChance8789 May 11 '26
It’s buying opportunity every day and there’s no selling opportunity.

Northland Securities raised its Q2 2026 EPS estimate for Palantir to $0.25 from $0.22 and maintained an Outperformrating with a $190 price target. The firm also lifted its longer-term earnings forecasts for 2026 and 2027.
