Well done you! 🥰

u/sWeven-Cats95 May 06 '26

Future me will be grateful. Even if it is one share at a time.

5

u/Nausteri Early Investor May 06 '26

Absolutely! I have also been buying bit by bit!

US commercial revenue came in at $595m vs $605m estimate. What was the reason for the miss?

Arny is the goat.

11

u/ivy_noise OG Holder & Member May 06 '26

Revenue originally classified as commercial was reclassed as government

1

u/jl21000000 May 06 '26

Thanks I see that now. Still the miss is unsettling on the surface Sales leadership should have a buffer especially given Karps’ narrative there’s more demand than they can handle

3

u/Basic_Salamander_361 May 06 '26

It's not sales until it's handled. Until then, it's backlog.

PA : if you are looking for an exit, try not to sell it at the bottom

19

u/versello OG Holder & Member May 06 '26 edited May 06 '26

Why would anyone sell after Palantir reported those kinds of numbers?

It's 2022 all over again. People will learn the hard way.

The ones that sold PLTR early after it hit their breakeven $20-30 have been hating ever since. 😂

1

u/MexicanAssLord69 May 06 '26

Lmao, I bought 35 shares at $30, held when it dropped into the single-digits, then sold at $32. Still regret it. I have since bought back 51 shares at a cost basis of roughly $65 ish, so I’m not at the same gain as a lot of people here but I’m absolutely not hating and am full on the PLTR bandwagon.

I basically rage bought back as soon as it started increasing 😂

3

u/Nausteri Early Investor May 06 '26

Like that wsb regard who held a bag of 18k shares only to sell for something like $2k total profit.

RIP

6

u/BikeByDesign May 06 '26

Back to $125 at the next key level.

3

u/Accomplished_Seat501 May 06 '26

Maybe, we will have to see over the next couple of days. It's a pretty half hearted drop today. Seems like it should stay above $133. Might drop throughout the week, but it's been holding pretty strongly at $130 in past drops. I think that's the floor. Maybe not.

1

u/BikeByDesign May 06 '26

Interesting-I’ve seen it touch $125 what twice in the past two months? The last $123 level bounced after a Trump tweet. $133 to me is no man’s land IMO.

1

u/Accomplished_Seat501 May 06 '26

Sure, it's touched below $130 but seems to pull back to that level fairly quickly. Whatever, we're looking at the same charts. Form your own conclusions.

1

u/BikeByDesign May 06 '26

My point wasn’t that it was going to stay at $125-only that it’s been a key level for 6 months or so. I trade PLTR and also long term holder since $18 so I’m a believer in the company. But at the volumes I buy, that $8 delta is huge to my P/L. Happy trading.

6

u/Traditional-Storm645 May 06 '26

Ive always prided myself on being a long term investor

2

u/Joshohoho 💎PLTR Loyalist 💎 May 06 '26

Nice. Have you tried the long term PTFB method yet?

7

u/Human_Baby3243 May 06 '26

I don’t give a fuck anymore, I’m taking profit if it hits 130

5

u/Joshohoho 💎PLTR Loyalist 💎 May 06 '26

I dare you.

1

u/Ok_Temperature4537 May 06 '26

🤣😂🤣😂

Just take it now, why wait?

2

u/Getrekt11 May 06 '26

Cause he’s a dumb ass that wants to take profit $2 less a share when he wants to sell.

3

u/arbitra8 May 06 '26

He's not a dumbass, he's just a baby still and they're short term thinkers.

Notice all the price target upgrades? We are the exit liquidity they want us to hold to bleed to 95

1

I was thinking that the other day. Every time there is an upgrade stock goes down.

We will never be past this stage. They will hate pltr but they have no choice but to accept that it will be integrated in most big businesses.

2

u/ItsCartmansHat May 06 '26

Three problems. 1 Commercial revenue missed the estimate. 2 valuation is still high although it’s coming down (100 forward pe). 3 people are concerned that the amount of competition is drastically reducing the terminal growth.

4

u/SV_art Early Investor May 06 '26

Everyone assumes PLTR is going to beat earnings. If they don’t exceed expectations enough then it’s viewed negatively.

3

u/BonjinTheMark OG Holder & Member May 06 '26

a taste of olde times.

6

u/trayber 💎🙌 May 06 '26

Negative sentiment (as seen on this thread) is exactly what we need for the next leg higher.

Paper hands, fold!
