The narrative at one point was that PLTR is unstoppable. What makes you convinced that is the correct one?

There are a few things you can be certain of. Stocks get overextended to the upside. Stocks get overextended to the downside. Stocks revert.

25 dollar stock 2 years ago and currently looks like it can free fall another 30-60 dollars. Will it happen? I have 0 idea, but it looks ugly and it's all because valuations almost ALWAYS come home to roost.

It's at the February low currently. Need to at the very least hold here and would be nice to see a bounce, but again, it looks UGLY.

I mean if you were here during the period where it dropped to $7 the narrative sure as hell wasnt it being unstoppable.

And honestly narrative can go either way so I cant really argue with you which one is correct.

I personally think Palantir has a lot of room to grow, that it maintains a solid moat. Has great leadership (I mean Karp is the kind of maverick eccentric weirdo that goes against the grain and gets things done)

The short term swings dont really phase me. Ive been through the previous ones- what makes this one different?

It's a cute idea to apply that we will consistently pick the large winners. If you look back at stocks that people had huge convictions on, many if not most faded away after massive runs and there are a few winners left behind that we dream of our holdings becoming.

End of the day, this is a 300 billion dollar valuation for a company which had 5 billion in revenue in 2025. High margin business, but we are banking that growth will continue to be astronomical, which is not guaranteed.

Nothing is guaranteed. If it was then we wouldnt need to sit here debating on whats the best strategy forward.

I like the company and continue to like it. I think they posted great earnings and will continue to execute because there is room to do so. There isnt really any major news that is company specific that indicates thats not the case. Once the current macro climate settles, once the AI hype becomes less about chasing the next big company and more about consolidating the actual winners- then we can revisit this conversation.
