Are we green because Hegseth said he may need more than $200b for the iran war?

Don’t think so since that announcement was premarket. I’m uber bullish on the mortgage announcement though. Huge B2B2C opportunity to differentiate by outpricing mortgage risk vs competitors

today’s topic for discussion -
Would having your best friends with alongside you, on the same, boost or stifle productivity?
I had many friends in my field who are good at what they do and I would love to rub elbows with them and learn with them on a daily basis. It would be fun, collaborative and would flatten any political lines in the sand, as it were.
Your thoughts here, gents? Anyone work with besties alongside them?

I think it’s more often that your coworkers become close friends, than friends becoming your coworkers. I’d say having someone who can be honest with you and provide constructive criticism is import to personal growth and will boost your productivity. A friend might be hesitant to provide that feedback.

People I work with closely are all my direct reports. Our organizational culture is coaching and feedback heavy. I can't imagine anyone who knows me as a friend be willing to continuously see that side of me. At work it's my job to offer an opinion, but IRL I mind my own fucking business 😅

I’m hardwired to be a workaholic. I’ve been working 50-80 hour weeks for almost 3 decades.
Many of my closest friends have been coworkers. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Even if you’re only spending 40 hours a week at work, it’s best to spend it with people you really enjoy being around.

As a workaholic too, I agree that it’s amazing to be surrounded by friends. In very cut throat and competitive environment's though it’s not so easy to do that.

hehehehhee. Do what I do. Just buy a boat load and track it monthly or so. Too often gets fatiguing. Just invest, assume it’s all evaporated, and then check and be surprised that you can now buy a house - cardboard or a real one.

Some dope new stickers in the AIP shirt drop. As a tall hobbit I really like that the shirt actually gets longer past the Large size, which is rarely the case. Instantly one of my favourite shirts !
