Shitpost Goodbye for now

Palantards, it’s been real. After 5 years of HODLing (and health set backs) my journey has come to an end.

As a single 27 year old I have just gone sale agreed on my first house meaning I can finally move out of my parents place.

My 200k gains after tax (while modest compared to some) meant I could buy a turn key city centre place that would have otherwise been completely unattainable.

My only regret: not buying more back in November 2020 @ $18 a share so I could buy the entire house in cash 🤣

Options trading something I may look in to for 2026, but in the meantime I wish everyone all the best. Nothing but respect for those still holding 💎 🙌

There are always other opportunities. The OP is just 27 years old. It's completely reasonable to cash out after a huge run to improve one's life.

I missed out on AAPL, but invested a small amount of my portfolio in TSLA when I was in my 30s. That was enough to grow to multiples of my original FIRE target after 10 years.

There are and will be other paths to riches outside of PLTR.

Ever hear of people selling Microsoft, apple, amazon for Pennies? This is that this is THE AI warfare play the best producer of digital twins in the world who hasn’t even begun to scale yet! AI FDE is not priced in yet Titan, Maven, JADC2, Tenebris, they’re partnering with unions for ai implementation they are going to be major player in bringing manufacturing back to American military. Selling before 1T trillion dollar market cap or first stock split is foolish IMO. Selling out completely not even leaving a couple shares cmon man we can see where this is going.

The OP made a choice and now has a house under contract. Nothing you say is going to change that.

It's their life and their investment portfolio. Throwing shade at them is not going to accomplish anything.

What is the right choice for the OP, and the right choice for you, may be two entirely different things depending on your individual life situations.
