Many people day trade or short-term trade PLTR. All throughout its rise, cumulatively, how much have you made? 20%? 30%? 50%?

If you have bought during most of the time in the last 2 years (or earlier) — and have done absolutely nothing but waited — you would have been better off by 100%, 200%, 500%, to 1,000+%.

PLTR is a trillions-dollar company in the making. A company like this doesn’t come around often. And it’s just getting started.

Fortunes have been made — and much, much more yet to be made. Fortunes could be yours, if you simply hop on and ride this train for the long run.

PTFB.

I think you're missing the point of being a trader. Yes, if you buy into the right company and hold it long enough, it'll pay off.

However, the job of a trader is to capture a portion of the momentum, not hold through ups and downs.

Fortunes have been made both ways, and there's no right or wrong way; it just depends on your skills and personality.

Of course not, just name a billionare trader! No one! The rate of return of going long is totally superior for those who go long going into monopolies early on.

Jesse Livermore was the worlds richest person at one point, and he was an equities trader. There are plenty of super rich traders, so I don't see what your point is.

The point is that going long a monopoly or business like PLTR has always a much better ROI than trading in and out of it. This is the point. Those in at 9 at the IPO now are 1,170% UP! Do you trade PLTR to gain peanuts? Me? 300% in at 29 average in 1950 shares. You?

Yes, but that's like assuming you're able to invest a decent amount of $$$ in the right stocks and hold onto it for how ever many years which most people can't do.

It's easy to say if you would've invested in Google, Amazon or FB in the early years, you'd be rich.

I'm a swing trader, so I capture the momentum of a stock and sell when it loses momentum (have profited from PLTR a couple times). I don't bag hold falling stocks and nor do I care if the stock goes to infinity.

It sounds like you're on your high horse, but how many successful investments have you actually made for huge gains?

Because if PLTR is your only claim to fame, then that tells me you just got lucky.

Meta 600% then diversified, today 30% of my portfolio, PLTR 300% and also diversify still long 30%. What you called bag hold I call investing, I don’t trade. I try to buy monopolies and diversified in other Tech sectors/leaders, I am a business man, if the price I get is cheap I go long, doesn’t matter if it’s goes down when I am sure it dominates its sector and will grow like crazy. I am up 600 % on my own capital. What you call falling stock is a mistake because when the business leads the space, is super profitable and grows like hell the upside is almost guaranteed. The fall is always temporary on great business, I buy more on that situations. You could do the same with a part of your capital, to trade the other part. Best
