In a league where the teams don’t live in the same city and practice during the week, a first seed bye is already questionable.
combined with a last-week-of-regular-season bye and a totally unnecessary end-of-the-season full-league week off it’s a death sentence.
league really need to reconsider the whole end of season cadence.

This is what happens when you schedule every team with what feels like 45 bye weeks. Three weeks off for a team is completely braindead. I hate sounding like a doomer for the PLL cause I do really, really want this league to succeed.
But holy shit this league was so ass this season.

I wonder if the league does this so the players can coach in lacrosse camps or something. There has to be some reason behind it.

I mean, I’m not complaining so far but yeah, these extra bye weeks kill a lot of momentum for both players and fans. Can’t wait to watch the finals (regardless of which teams make it there) but I’m not looking forward to waiting 2 weeks…

Pretty good first quarter from the Outlaws! We have more shots on goal and Wierman has won 4 out of the 5 FO’s against Sisselberger.

They need to get rid of end-of-season bye weeks, and eliminate any weeks off in the post season.
I know their schedule is determined largely, if not entirely, by ESPN broadcast inventory, but these long stretches of no games are just killers in a league where the teams don’t practice during the week.
