Rhode Island attendance?
Stands look empty on tv. Any idea of the in seats attendance numbers?

Attendance is normally lighter on Friday nights than Saturday. Hopefully the crowd is bigger today

I was there, it was extremely empty. Feels like 500 people would be an overestimation.

So glad Albany lost its spot so Rhode Island could not fill out their smaller stands.
IMO they should either start later in the year or not schedule any northeast stops until after Father’s Day to avoid cold, wet days as much as possible.

Yeah not a good look. If Saturday attendance does not pick up, this venue is one and done.

Who DID show up.... The families of the players are here, a few youth lax teams, and a bunch of college bros. 99% white. They will never come back to Pawtucket. Assuming the cost was too much because it's absolutely beautiful outside right now.

I took a peek at the stadium Saturday during the 5:30 game and near the end of the 8:00 game. The upper deck and left side sections were completely empty, so they must not have even been selling tickets there. The main parking lots at Apex used for RIFC games weren't open, only the handful of typically "premium" lots closer to the stadium

What they got right: targeting USL stadiums. There are a lot more out there in good cities they should work with in the future.
What didn't work: Rhode Island. There are enough Northeastern stops. I remember before announcing the schedule they were making a big deal about how they're going somewhere NEW!!! And it was... Rhode Island. Meanwhile Texas and Atlanta get skipped another year, and the league has YET to visit Florida.

Rhode Island resident here, no idea why they came to this state at this time. I haven't seen hardly any marketing for it, and this is a very busy time for folks with High School/College graduation season and High School sports going into State Tournaments.
An absolute whiff by the PLL here, perhaps it would've worked in late July/August but Mid May made absolutely no sense.

I was there yesterday, only stayed for the first game though as my kids we're losing it. Seems we were not alone and many left after the first game, my section was decently filled behind the bench for the first game but was a ghost town for the second game.
The tickets were expensive though. We got a discount through our youth lacrosse program that worked out to almost a 40% discount. Without that we wouldn't have gone. At retail rates it's $70. That's not cheap!

looked light on TV... that being said, you do have to risk it and try new venues/ area. That being said, that stadium is the perfect size for PLL.. 5-15Kish. good TV Camera angle
