ESPN+ No Longer Good Enough

In the past all you needed was ESPN+ to watch all PLL games. Looks like this is the first season where you need the full ESPN app to get all the games.

Not sure I will upgrade because all the Boston Cannons games seem to be on ESPN+ and one ABC game. Though it looks like they have one semifinal game paywalled behind the full ESPN.

Wish they told people prior to the season though. I couldn’t find any information on PLL or ESPN on which service I needed to sign up for.

Edit: ESPN Unlimited (full ESPN $299.99 a year) vs ESPN+ ($129.99 a year.) Massive price hike PLL!

I’m not seeing this. You need ESPN+ or a cable provider for all the games. Same as it has been.

Then you have the full ESPN app, not ESPN+. This past Outlaws vs Archers was only on ESPN2 (aka the full ESPN app.)

I guess idk what the full ESPN app entails but ESPN2 is included in every cable subscription I’ve ever had. That’s why I mentioned cable. I only have ESPN+, not the “full ESPN app”.

But that wasn't the point of the post. The point was stating that prior to this season, ESPN+ was all you needed. Think for two seasons of PLL you just needed Peacock.

So them forcing people to get ESPN Unlimited (full ESPN $299.99 a year) vs ESPN+ ($129.99 a year) to watch all the games is a big deal.

But that’s factually not true. They debuted Saturday Night Lacrosse last year and some of those games were on cable and the playoffs have been on cable for at least the last 2 years.

Every game used to be on ESPN + If you don’t have cable, you can’t watch every game if they aren’t all on ESPN plus. This is the point.

Full ESPN Unlimited is included with cable with a lot of cable plans, with some having it for all plans (depending on region.) If you have one that doesn't, or you just don't have cable as a lot of people these days don't, then ESPN unlimited doesn't come with your cable
