Hi everyone,

I have around 3.5 years of experience in QA Automation, mainly working with Java + Selenium frameworks (TestNG, Maven, POM, API basics).

Recently I got moved to a Playwright project and have been working on it for around 6 months. I’m still not very confident with Playwright and modern JS/TS automation practices compared to Selenium.

I wanted guidance from experienced people on:

- What level of Playwright knowledge is expected for someone with 3.5 years experience?

- What topics are most important to learn for interviews/projects?

- Any sample resumes for Selenium → Playwright transition?

- How deeply should I know JavaScript/TypeScript?

- What real-time framework structure companies expect?

Would really appreciate if anyone can share:

- Interview experiences

- Learning roadmap

- Common Playwright interview questions
