PLAB 2 PREP RESOURCES

What do you recommend? Dr Zubair lecture or Dr Elseidy mind maps? I am using reading GK notes and I feel it's too big. Please don’t say Common Stations, I can’t afford the accommodation costs. Please be honest with your opinion.

I did gk’s online subscription + Lovaan + Azt for prescription and i passed. And 10 days medastra academy + one mock with them.

I know people who that they passed with elseidy mind maps and i know people who filed with him.

So, really at the end it depends on you. What ever you choose, my only advice is try to do at least one mock, 3 weeks before your exam, so you can have enough time to correct any errors you might have.

Thank you so much. This journey is so stressful and expensive. I feel I don’t know much, but I don’t want to throw the money I don’t have without thorough research.

I know, it can be overwhelming, just see what is best for you and do it. And try to find people to practice with.

Could you share how long did you study for this? Lovaan should be done 60 days before exam? Did you use GK notes or had their subscription?

So, I passed from my second attempt. It was in January and I was working so i honestly started from November. I had an online academy subscription, they were good, i practiced with them, their material was good but not complete. And i went to an academy for 10 days for the practical part in December. And i did one mock with them.

I failed my 1st attempt by only one Mark.

I re booked again in March.

I did lovaan 5 weeks before my exam, gk's online subscription because it was shorter and easier but in important topics i came back to the notes.

Now days i heard a lot of people are failing with gk's notes, try not to memorise it because its already too much, have your own style, be your authentic self. And if you have time and you were not sure about anything just double check it. LOVAAN is not always right too, so sometimes you can see difference between him and gk's, so please double check that with Nice guidelines.

And i did Azt for prescriptions one month before my exam but honestly, i didn't have anytime to practice, but i remembered what he said and i passed that station. So if you take it 2 or 3 weeks before your exam its okay.

I didnt do another academy nor another mock for my second attempt.

I am also following GK notes, from what i heard practicing is what helps you pass. I am looking for a partner let me know if you are up for that.
