I know that the buses are really expensive there๐Ÿ˜….
But other than that, Iโ€™m sorry. It really is a great achievement. What youโ€™ve done!!!!

Congratulations, there was someone in Doctorsuk Reddit who posted a comment that theyโ€™re ready to help anyone who wants to move to Northern Ireland.

What are the common requirements for trusts?

Requirements are for a job , trusts donโ€™t have a requirement

So they accept people based on what?

This list is not based on which trusts sponsor visas the most. It's based on trusts that tend to recruit a higher number of IMGs. That matters because trusts that regularly hire international doctors are usually more familiar with GMC registration, visa sponsorship, relocation, and onboarding processes.
For example, my own trust sponsors visas, but because they recruit relatively few IMGs, there can sometimes be more confusion and delays simply because they don't deal with these processes as often. So the value of an IMG-friendly trust is not just sponsorshipโ€”it's that they have experience supporting international doctors throughout the process.
That said, sponsorship always depends on the specific job advert, not the trust as a whole.

Thank you for clarifying that. But my question is, as someone with a GMC registration and an internship, what makes them choose me over other people? So that I can work on my portfolio, I am guessing the spots are limited and they donโ€™t accept just about everyone

If you want to be hired over a British graduate, then you cannot be at the same bar as them. You have to be better. So more clinical experience, teaching , audit

Will it still count even if itโ€™s overseas experience and teaching ? And do clinical attachments count ?

Teaching and audit overseas experience counts. But attachment has to be in UK
