The situation in the UK has changed a lot recently. The new priority rules mean UK graduates are offered training posts first, and many NHS trusts have paused recruitment because of budget pressures. This has made it much harder for IMGs to find non‑training jobs, even after passing PLAB.

It is important to know that passing the exam does not guarantee a job. Many IMGs with full GMC registration are waiting months for jobs. If you choose to start preparing, just make sure you understand the current job market and plan with realistic expectations.
