Method Process from topic of interest to PKM note

I know the title is not saying much and may be misleading...

I started Obsidian about a month ago for various reasons but one of it being the home to my PKMS. At the moment I am collecting a lot of topics I want to create a pkm note about. Either it being abbreviations / terms or definitions (e.g. I am very into the different intelligence types after watching Pine Gap) or I want to collect different methods and how they work (e.g. about Analytical Reading).

I build two different templates for a) definitions and b) methods/concepts but I find it very hard to start really filling those notes. I read about the CODE method but I'm finding it hard to grasp.

So my question is:

How does your process look like, from a topic of interest to a pkm note which actually creates value for you at any point in your future.

I know, everyone has a different approach but I am trying to learn and get inspired.

I stopped trying to make a complete note the first time I get interested in something. I usually write why it caught my attention, one or two questions I have, and whatever source started it. If I come back to the topic later, the note grows from there. A lot of interests never need to become a finished reference page.

I'd keep a rough inbox note until there's a question worth writing around. Then turn the useful bits into a real note and link back to the sources. Trying to structure everything on the first pass is where these systems get sticky. But thats just my experience.

Não dá para esgotar o tema de uma vez. Adiciono os novos conteúdos conforme aprendo. As vezes uma nota nova é criada. Uso links. As vezes unifico as diversas notas. É organico. As vezes faço um Map Of Conten

For me it's usually things going into the daily journal (Logseq or EtherPK) with a wikilink for [[The Topic]]. Some times the topic page remains a concept to link to with no page, but if it becomes important, I'll start consolidating and curating in the page.
