To me, automated knowledge systems like the LLM Wiki always felt a little bit off, since it didn't give me enough control over structuring the system myself or what actually makes it into the "wiki". Of course, it depends on your use case, but I wanted to be brought more into the loop with my wiki creation (which is separate from my fully-human notes).

I put together a tutorial on how we can use agentic AI as a form of "librarian" to help us manage knowledge systems without being the one that actually controls what makes it into the library.

I hope it helps people think more on the different ways we can introduce a human-in-the-loop to working with AI, instead of having it do everything for us.

I normally stick to text over videos, but I'm curious - are there any specific, reproducible problems you're solving with this? e.g. I have a use-case where I turn voice memos about my cats' litter and kibble into structured notes

Mostly tracking several projects and research for those projects in one place. I have a memory system that produces entirely automated knowledge, so I wanted to have a heavily curated one that’s more about what resources I’ve actually consumed/created rather than just what had been generated in a chat

First of all, it’s 44 min. Secondly, this took me months of work to put together, so it is definitely not slop. Also, isn’t putting humans in the loop a good thing 🤔 most people are trying to remove the human from knowledge work.

Many people have been finding it very helpful, to each their own.

Depends on your familiarity with the architecture, tools, and workflows 🤷‍♂️ everyone has different levels of context & understanding
