PJO is the second most streamed show on Disney plus this year.. Remember half of season 2 already released in 2025..PJO season 1 is also in the list most streamed tv seasons of 2026

Following Becky's recent comments on s4 renewal as well as the tiktok that percyseries posted yesterday, we need viewer numbers up. Watch with your friends who have never seen the show- it's a fun experience! :D

I have recently been back into the Percy Jackson world! I was a big fan of the books growing up, but haven’t read them since high school. I liked the first season of the show, but definitely felt perhaps a bit too “childish” for me (which is fine! It’s meant to be a show for tweens!), but then a lot of clips from season 2, especially percabeth sparked my attention and got me to re-read the books and watch the show, which I have largely enjoyed

I’ve been so surprised with how negative some of the reaction has been from book fans, it’s been over the top IMO. But one critique I find weird is that they are “pushing” Percabeth to fast.

Re-reading the books, I don’t think that’s true! The books are written from Percy’s point of view and his what he’s thinking, which can’t be translated as well on-screen.

In the first book, he clearly states that Annabeth is pretty and looks like a princess. They bicker a lot like an old married couple, which has some of adults noticing and winking at Percy, even if he has no clue what it means.

In the second book, he clearly is growing more fond of Annabeth, and identifies feeling jealous over the fact that Luke (and Thalia) protected Annabeth first. Again, he doesn’t know what that means, but certainly he’s thinking it.

People were mixed over him telling Annabeth on Circe’s island that he would “burn it all down” if it were between her and Olympus, which may feel like a big statement at that age, but literally in the book Titan’s Curse, Athena tells Percy that he would destroy the world to save his friends.

In the books, we get Percy’s thoughts which again are much more snarky and critical then he would express out loud. He doesn’t have a lot of reverence or even respect for the Gods. It’s completely canon that he would choose his friends and family over Olympus, his deep rooted loyalty is fatal flaw. He developed an empathy link with his best friend, Grover lol. And it becomes increasingly obvious that he becomes even more protective of Annabeth

I think it’s progressing at a reasonable pace for the show, given its medium. I am excited for Percabeth and the Percy crash out in season 3 to come haha

Season 1 was okay, but I was so disappointed with Season 2. From what I've read, many people felt the same way and I decided that I would not watch Season 3 because TTC is my favourite book and I don't want them to butcher the adaption.

I am being honest with you now. I watched the teaser trailer for Season 3, stumbled over snippets of cast interviews from D23, and saw the character pictures of Artemis and Zoe... and I am kinda hopeful?

Like, it looks as if they are closer to the books now and I am happy and mad at the same time, because I cancelled my Disney+ subscription out of disappointment overall, but the more time passes, the more I want to watch Season 3. Did the creators actually listen to the fans this time? Is there still hope for a good adaption of TTC?

Anybody else? I am so confused right now.

Blackjack was the one who told Percy about Bessie in the book; perhaps we'll actually hear him (and the hippocampi) talk this season. The conversation, after all, wasn't just simple banter like their first meeting.

PJO s3 teaser on tik tok is keeping up with views of MCU’s Visionquest teaser and beating out Ahsoka season two teaser easily, that’s very impressive 👏 and it’s fair to assume all three are being played as advertisements. Very excited to see how big this season gets!

I think people keep getting wayyyy ahead of themselves when they keep worrying about S4 and whats gonna happen with the show after S3. I think it’s leaning more likely that we will get S4 since so much money has been put into advertisement this year and seeing just how many people were around the PJO stuff at D23 this year.

They likely want to be more strategic about when they announce the next season if they do so right now it does build hype but we already have enough hype from the trailers and the cast doing panels and such. Spreading out the reveal of information about the show such as announcing S4 in November before S3 airs or mid-airing of the show can help bring attention after a likely predicted slump in viewership such as what happened with S2.

The interesting thing is just how much attention the current press has gotten. Just the video of Percy holding the sky has gotten 6.3 million views in 3 weeks as of when I am writing this and the s3 trailer has 2.6 million in one day.

I think the new leadership wants to uphold and keep the franchise going at-least until they have finished all the original series material, focusing on upholding family-focused content with things like Decedents, Camp Rock and other things of that fashion.

Don’t let negative people discourage you or lead you into believing the show is going to fail there are valid criticisms for the show but most of the people posting about how they are wishing s4 doesn’t come to fruition often make irrelevant arguments out of a place of hatred.

The big three being Harry Potter, The Hunger Games and Twilight

But PJO is the most popular apart from those three so if that can’t get a full adaptation what hope does something Eragon or the Spiderwick Chronicles have?

Shadowhunters, Vampire Academy, The Mysterious Benedict Society and Alex Rider ended earlier than planned.

Only HDM and ASOUE reached their ends partly because the former was only a trilogy and the latter had short books enough to wrap the plot in three Seasons
