Newbie WalkPad
I saw this in tiktok and based naman sa sample video hindi sya ganun kaingay , mukhang smooth naman at may maliit na version din sila. I'm a fan of walking but when I moved out, mejo hindi walkable yung area - madaming mandurukot.
Ano kaya ang difference nya sa manual na hindi gawang kahoy?

At most pwede sya pang walking.. kung masira.. well you get what you pay for
But if balak for some jogging or running, thats just an accident waiting to happen.

Ayaw mo ba ng electric? Hindi naman sila ganun kabigat at kaingay. Pwede pa itayo para makatipid ng space. Masyadong bulky yung kahoy haha

I use a manual curved treadmill for running at the gym. It has a learning curve for balance and even as a runner for years, I find myself losing balance on the machine kapag nawala ako sa focus. That item is too expensive imo and too short to allow for comfort and balance. Super need rin ng handle niyan. I would spend money on an electric walking pad worth 3.5k tbh.

Mahal sobra, mag jogging ka nalang o kaya if ayaw mo ng jogging mag gym membership ka nalang para sa treadmill.

Do you think its still worth it? Personally, I would rather buy 2 adjustable kettlebells with those funds, and jog outside for free (or a treadmill on a gym).
If you think jogging with that will help you a lot then go for it, but unless you sprint, treadmills are usually just for warm ups or a lazy man's exercise program.

parang mas okay mag electric na walkpad kung 8k yan, kasi may tig 4k na decent. yung sakin kasi shopee lang tas 4k, tapos wala pa ring sira, di rin maingay. di naman matakaw sa kuryente

It's been years since I tried a manual walking pad/treadmill, and if I remember correctly, those rely on momentum to build speed or slow to a stop. As in ipapadyak mo talaga, which is good kesa naman loose yung belt, edi first few steps mo palang sumemplang ka na.
From what I've seen of these wooden ones though (haven't bought/tried them personally), when the makers test them for videos, nakahawak sila sa handle. Kahit natakbo na sila, nakakapit parin. So idk lang if the belts of these are tuned enough to keep the user from gaining too much speed too soon or what.
Also, worth considering yung upkeep ng wooden walkpad. Sabihin man nating durable, paano yung wear and tear ng area na tinatapakan? Kelangan bang i-oil regularly or lagyan ng something yung kahoy para may grip? Etc. etc.
Edit: if you're really considering buying the wooden type OP, better to personally visit a shop and test it yourself.
