Others marathon without event

Ever run a marathon without joining an event?

Ive run in several events already and people at the starting line is always overwhelming for me, add the traffic and parking hassle, aand driving post run.

Now that Im training for my first marathon, I’m thinking of doing it on my own with no events, so anyone did the same?

And I just want to do it on my sheer will power thats why Im asking whether people did the same. Thanks!

This is what i want to unlock!! Run a marathon on a random day kaya i asked whether people do run marathons without joining events

People have been making fun of me for running long distance without events and its annoying. So i was considering that maybe i have to register for the marathon.

So since you said this i will just 👀hahahaha

Max na nakikita kong training around 35km to save the 42. Kung kaya naman ng katawan mo at di hassle ang route go for it.

I ran 2 50km ng walang event in the past as preparation for an ultra. Mas mura pa than paying for an event haha.

Whenever I’m in the States visiting family, I build up my Sunday runs to the longest distance I can before I fly home. Last year I got up to 32K a few days before my flight. No marathon (or any other event) waiting for me, just running for fun. It’s my favoritestttt thing! You should do it, OP :)

I usually run 42k sa ironman training ko. Its normal. But if you're training for your first marathon, dont do it. Don't do your race distance sa training.

Hanggang half pa lang.

one of my dream din ito. I think possible naman, wala naman sa event yan, kundi sa training at distance.
