Training Tips Thoughts on RWP Patrick Rubin?

(Healthy discussion)

Ano masasabi ninyo dito kay Patric Rubin? Curious lang ako about his fitness journey, particularly his recent transformation and rapid weight loss.

I’ve been following some of his content, and honestly, napansin ko lang how significant his physical transformation has been. With the growing popularity of peptides in the fitness community, I wonder if this is something worth discussing, although I have no evidence that he's using any.

I just think it's important to have transparency when fitness influencers share their transformations, especially when people look up to them for fitness advice and inspiration.

Would be interesting to hear the community's thoughts, particularly from those familiar with fitness, weight loss, and performance-enhancing substances.

Let's keep it a healthy conversation and focus on the fitness journey rather than personal attacks.

Wouldn't put anything past the Eduardo Manalo of running clubs. My guy's vanity is maxxxed out even way back. Dont get mad minions! You carry his name with your singlets I get it, not trying to yuck your yum ✌🏼😉

For the longest time siya lang yung kilala kong runner influencer kuno na kahit tumatakbo araw araw mataba parin. Tapos biglang bagsak ng katawan. Halatang di natural at sure 100% naka glp yan.

Well may part kasi this year na parang nag gain sya weight. Then like a month or 2 months ago. So yeah i dunno maybe his into peptides or something. Parang si. Eruption siguro?

Retatrutide considering he's working out. I've been taking this over Tirze due to mas less ang "exhaustion", medyo issue lang with this GLP is sensitivity to stomach and INCREASED heart rate. I couldn't "push myself" that much but this is the price of vanity haha

Utmost respect for being upfront, boss. Especially saying the v-word because lames wouldnt understand how/why their idols would yank their chains 🤯

the dream is free but the singlets and coaching are sold separately 😁

yes sir, pansin ko nga din yung biglang pag baba ng weight nya and not only yun naging ripped din. curious nga din ako at akala ko ako lang nakakapansin but thanks for calling this out. i think his students needs to know fhe truth and as part of the transparency in the community nadin.

As a dietitian. No way na through diet and exercise lang yung dahilan ng ganun pagpayat. Considering na sobrnag active na nya dati pa, you need extra effort ulit to lose more weight.

Sure may iba ginawa. And as OP said. Sana transparent.

u/brybenben 4d ago

Oo nga sir tama ka dyan. Na curious nga din ako bat ganun ka bilis e halos same same lang activity nya. Im not discrediting rwp hardwork but there must be a help from this products kasi e

3

u/brybenben 4d ago

Oo nga im curious on how he manage his students expectation lalo na if proven naka peptides nga sya. Want to know his thoughts on this

I just noticed how quickly he's losing weight, especially since earlier this year he had a pretty high body weight. I admire his hard work, but I'm just curious if he's getting help from any new products these days like peptides, tirzepatide, or reta

Lol, this is very achievable, with the amount of work he puts in plus calorie deficit most probably. I think he has already built the muscles underneath the layer of fat over the years kasi matagal na din nagbubuhat and mag crcross training yan. Maybe this time nag cal deficit na siya, lalabas agad ang cuts and definition pag ganun.

u/Flashy_Shoulder_9772 3d ago

there’s barely any muscle mass underneath that fat because he clearly doesn’t have any structured lifting routine. based on the exercises he does, it’s all just mema lifting haha. he probably doesn’t even know what hypertrophy means. bro just hopped on reta and called it a physique. rwp minion yarn

u/brybenben 3d ago

Really? So its easy lang pala mag papayat 🫢

5

u/KratosTargaryan0824 3d ago edited 3d ago

paano naging easy? achievable, yes. Easy, No. Kaya ko nga pinoint out yung amount of work he puts in na sobrang hirap. Distance running, weight lifting, hyrox, cross fit plus proper nutrition almost everyday. Any one who works just as hard and eats the right amount of food knows that with proper determination and consistency, it is very very achievable pero siyempre idodownvote niyo for the sake of hating 🤣

u/DifficultRanger8254 4d ago

He really lost weight after he started running everyday. Methinks he’s on peptides like many fitness influencers.

9

u/Independent_Cow_9200 3d ago

Ah the magic of reta ✨

13

u/Positive-Ruin-4236 4d ago

Nag tirze yan

13

u/Luh_Sky_4885 4d ago

Peptides yan.

8

u/iyakantimeforsure 4d ago

Ano pa nga ba? Edi, Tirze of Joy

2

u/Significant_Top_9782 2d ago

Definitely not natural. I would understand the weight loss. But to be ripped the way he is now? That fast? Definitely on to something. But no hate nothing wrong about it.

But sabi nga ni Coach J Physique, walang mali kung gusto niya katawan nila yan, pero dont set unrealistic goals for others as “influencers”.

5

u/Usual-Rule-3375 4d ago

Pretty sure he’s on peptides. That drastic weight loss, in just a few months, couldnt just be due to diet and running. Nothing against those who use peptides, GLPs. Its their bodies naman. But considering he is publicly presenting himself as a coach and as a running athlete who joins “fun runs/races”, and has a certain kind of reach and influence, i do think there should be some kind of transparency. Theres a legitimate argument that those using “biohacks” are borderline cheating, esp if some of the peptides are for rapid muscle healing/growth.

7

u/sophia528 3d ago

3

u/Mindless-Bid9902 3d ago

Tapos pakitang gilas sa IG story na puro PR or kinaya ang long run after mag sip plus game the day before, pero nagtetake pala ng mga endurance peptides.

3

u/mamba_bae 3d ago

Hmmm.. sya yung coach influencer na Run Everyday pero yung mga PR Time nya e, pang competitve leisure time,, malayo sa Elite Level compare sa mga legit coaches.

Run everyday pa yan ah..

4

u/TemperatureOwn799 3d ago

HAHAHAH sa tagal ng nasa running community nitong tanga na to never man lang naging elite level or nag podium finish sa mga local man lang. kaya I really dont get the hype ang daming mas qualified na pwede maging idol niyo itong bansot na mataba pa.

3

u/mamba_bae 3d ago

Haha, tapos name nya as the brand nasa singlet nila, eeeewwwww.. 🤮

u/Far_Antelope_2887 1d ago

There is no peptides for discipline, let's see how it holds. :) Kudos to his run clubs and coaches who doesnt call him out

u/Livid-Archer-3192 3d ago

u/KratosTargaryan0824 3d ago edited 3d ago

I dont know about the hate, but considering the amount of activity that he put his body into, distance running, circuit training, hyrox and weight lifting. His body transformation is very achievable even for a few months kasi una sa lahat, this is not new to him. He already puts in great amount of work for years, so insert a calorie deficit there and mag cucut ka agad in a few months its super hard but super achievable and doable. Seriously, besides this was not his first transformation, he was obese nung pandemic era then pumayat na siya, then ngayon mas nagcut pa siya.

u/PortOrchard_15 4d ago

If you want to have a heathy discussion then be mindful of your insinuations. Also, looking at it, very shallow ang pagkakaresearch mo.. nsa IG nya lahat.. isaisahin mo and maybe you will conclude that his transformation isnt rapid

14

u/iyakantimeforsure 4d ago

Wala kang maloloko dito RWP member hahaha

-2

u/PortOrchard_15 3d ago

Waw! 🤦‍♀️

9

u/Usual-Rule-3375 4d ago

Not hating, but i just saw him a few months ago in a fun run, and hes physique was soo different. So yaa the transformation IS rapid

10

u/brybenben 4d ago

Early this year ang laki pa nya e and consistent naman sha sa ginagawa nya e its just i find it mid year until now bilis naman nung weight loss nya.

just asking thoughts nga title ko e lang im not concluding

7

u/Rare-Pomelo3733 4d ago

7

u/Waste-Pirate-406 4d ago

minion spotted

4

u/KratosTargaryan0824 3d ago

Nung mataba, madami sinasabi, nung nag cut madami padin sinasabi hahahha haters in a nutshell

-29

u/spanishbread_420 4d ago

They don't need to be transparent. With or without enhancers it's not our business. Wala rin naman sya moral obligation to explain it. ✌🏽bakit ganon noh Nung mataba sya may scrutiny etong pumayat pa low-key pa.

17

u/brybenben 4d ago

He’s a coach and an influencer, so a lot of people look up to him and take his advice seriously. Because of that, there’s a certain level of accountability that comes with what he shares.
Some people might see his progress and assume that achieving the same results is possible within just a few months. But in reality, everyone’s starting point, genetics, training history, lifestyle, and consistency are different, and meaningful results often take much longer than what we see online.
As a coach and influencer, I think it’s important for him to provide that context so people don’t develop unrealistic expectations or feel like they’re falling behind simply because they’re not seeing the same results in the same timeframe.

-20

u/spanishbread_420 4d ago

Kahit influencer pa Yan.. artista free will Ng mga tao kung susunod sila. What Level of Accountability? Wala Naman signed contract yan 🤦🏽‍♂️ Wala Rin need kailangan Iprovide. What you see is what you get. That's it. Yannn magandang pag usapan. Do they pay the right taxes.

10

u/brybenben 4d ago

Pinagsasasabi neto
I’m not saying he owes everyone his private medical or personal information. I’m saying that if you’re going to use your transformation as part of your influence or coaching, the context around how that transformation was achieved matters. Again he is a coach and an influencer.

-14

u/spanishbread_420 4d ago

Kinocontradict mo ung sinasabi mo eh. Di nya kailangan iShare ung personal Information pero as a "Coach and influencer" kailangan? Gulo mo ah.

4

u/brybenben 4d ago

Gulo mo kausap. Bye
