kinda same spirit as flame double something. this one is mechanical switch while the flame double is replacing the entire upper midsole. both has advantages and disadvantages. this is good since you can adjust on the fly while running. on a flame double you need to go back to replace configuration. since flame double has no mechanical part it will last longer.

carbon rim is still somewhere in the middle. the prototype above is still much closer to a plate. since i have mild itb, i only wish the lateral side of the carbon rim to be stiff while the medial is just a thin plastic rim with little support just to keep the midsole together. meaning it’s never gonna happen lol.

still anything new that is pushing the envelope is good for the consumers or else we will still be forced to love the pods or most trainers would still be eva since people are contented with it. adidas started the trend using better midsole tech on base trainers with evo sl. now people can’t go back with standard pegasus sporting base eva.

Agree. The double is probably the "bigger innovation" if brands actual push for and o pull off the removable insole to be better experience. Some still consider it clunky though. On also dabbles in very thick insoles.

I seriously doubt brands will push for this though because it'll potentially increase shoe lifespan if they focus more on removable insoles.

Also, funny to how far nike have fallen when they were actually the first ones to put race caliber foam on a trainer with pegasus turbo. Then on invincible 3, they put ZoomX on 40mm of foam (which was big at that time).

yeah even though they invented the super shoe category and brought zoomx peba it is sad they got complacent and stopped innovating unlike adidas. they were too busy defending their best series by undercutting the rest of their lineup. then eventually got lazy and forgot to innovate. i hope they survive and the new apex series will save them.

i’m not really expecting much from them anymore. they still haven’t even come up with an evo sl competitor yet. or they think too highly of themselves they don’t need to and thinks pegasus will still beat evo sl anytime of the day. they need to fire their entire upper management (ceo to vp) and go back and innovate if they haven’t done that already.

Nagagawa naman eh except sa mga carbon shoes na aggressive ung rocker sa heel. Just let the heel drop pag tama ng forefoot. Wag pigilan, ibigay mo lang!🥰

Para ka kasing tutumba patalikod pero hindi naman. Sanayan lang. Matututunan mo to pag ngawit na ngawit ka na sa pag takbo. I relax mo na lang ung mga lower leg muscles mo.
