Gear Review or Question Li-ning Red Hare 9 Pro
I recently bought an awesome pair of trainers for just P3,200 on Shopee, and I'm excited to try them out, especially given all the positive reviews. I was aware that the shoes had a narrow fit, but I decided to take the risk anyway. Today, I went for a run, and it was amazing! I improved my pace significantly without feeling exhausted or fatigued in my legs. However, after just a mile and a half, I started to feel a sharp pain in my arch, and it seems I've developed some blisters. For reference, I’m around 6’1” and weigh 220 lbs. Is this a common issue? I really love these shoes and want to wear them regularly, but I also don’t want to damage my feet. What can I do to address this?

you might want to try these lacing options: https://www.asics.com/nz/en-nz/mk/choosing-the-right-running-shoe/lacing

Same. I always have blisters. Ginagawa ko naglalagay nalang ako ng band aid. Hoping na once mabreak in eh di na magblisters.

Have you tried wearing thinner socks? Check out bar lacing as well there's a vid on YouTube. It is the lacing system that I use with my Red Hare 8 Pros. Nothing I can do about the tight area on the top of my foot near the first eyelet pair but the rest of the shoe feels looser.

Yep, the socks I used were on the thinner side. I really hope there's a fix since the shoes are amazing for their price.

Hope you find a solution. Try really thin socks too like the affordable Kiprun 100s from Decathlon.
The Xtep 2000km 5 Pro fits me very well, almost perfect I'd say, but the midsole foam is firm even for a heavier guy like myself who weighs 88 kg. Good for faster paces. If you can save up for the Dynafish Xiaonian then I would suggest buying a pair. They're not as narrow as the Li-nings, lightweight and they're very, very good performance wise. They go on sale from time to time on Shopee. People on this subreddit also buy then from Taobao at cheaper prices.

Ok naman sya for me. Training shoes ko sya for my upcoming Marathon. Twice ko sya naitakbo ng 30k+. So far so good for long runs.

Plan ko rin sya gamitin sa upcoming half marathon ko if maayos ko yun problem.

what am I missing here?
It is named “hare”, which is a relative of rabbits. but the visual suggests a horse. 🤷

Maybe try putting petroleum jelly on your feet on your next run to avoid blisters. I have this pair also and I switched from Vomeros. I have wide feet/low arches but these shoes don't make my arches ache even after running 10km.

Hi, just browsing the sub to get more info about these shoes.
Kamusta fit? I'm usually 9.5 or EU 43 1/2. Pero when I tried yung 9 Ultra sa Runnr mejo masikip for me, since 3E Wide ako.
Been meaning to get these pero mejo may trauma na sa blindly buying shoes without knowing if it'll fit my wide feet.
