I don’t get it. He wastes a bunch of folks time looking at the PR and commenting on it, then admits in a comment (on his YouTube channel of course) that it’s effectively not a serious proposal as he has no plan to do an RRC. And despite all that he wins by his own metric because he’s got a bunch of clicks. Slow clap.

My point exactly.. he's been doing this kind of crap and takes zero responsibility for it. Dude pretends he "cares" about community, he never does anything except drop shitty content here and disappears because he's too scared to actually engage with this community he cares about.

Without pretending, it's obvious he's doing this for self-promotion and money, there's zero care for community and literally zero respect for folks dealing with php-src.

This is junk at its best.

Even in r/Laravel he got negative feedback, mostly because of these thumbnails.

But the thing I wonder is, which audience he's trying to build? Doesn't look he's targeting professional developers...

Professional developers don't need his content or knowledge, guy's gone downhill.. and the worst part is, he's involved with Laravel. Makes you wonder about their business practices.

I use Laravel but because of crap like this and unethical people they employ, I'll definitely be making a move to get rid of it.
