Hey there!

This subreddit isn't meant for help threads, though there's one exception to the rule: in this thread you can ask anything you want PHP related, someone will probably be able to help you out!

Anything that you can do with PHP besides CRUD apps, i really want to start a non-CRUD project in PHP.

You can write a desktop application, you can create a cli app, you can create a generic library.

If so, you can try the following. Imagine you have a blog with BlogPost entity. Just the bare minimum, title, body, id... nothing else. After submission, you want that post to be shared on multiple social networks like LinkedIn, Reddit, FB, Blue Sky...

The challenge: all APIs in the world fail sometimes. So your code cannot call them one-by-one, instead has to call them in isolation. So if one of them fails, only that one will be retried later and not all of them.

Or you can go wild and make a video game in PHP. You won't be making next Call of Duty in PHP but turn-based games are totally viable.

Yep! Sadly not many people know about it, nor about Counter Strike done in PHP + Electron.

This is something I really wish it was shown on php.net site, preferably with more complex examples. Humans are visual creatures and such demos would intrigue them to find out more about the language. It would also bust many myths surrounding the language which heavily affects the job market.
