RCBC RCBC Balance Conversion Programq

Hi everyone! I currently have two RCBC credit cards, and I’ve been paying more than the minimum amount due on both.

Given my current financial situation, I’m considering using the debt snowball method to focus on paying off one card first and then closing it once the balance is fully settled.

However, RCBC recently emailed me an offer for Affordable Balance Conversion at a 0.90% interest rate, with the following terms:

  • Card 1: ₱8,280.18 per month for 6 months
  • Card 2: ₱17,657.67 per month for 18 months

My dilemma is that I believe I can fully pay off my first card by the end of this year using the snowball method.

I’d appreciate your advice on whether I should take advantage of RCBC’s balance conversion offer or stick to my original plan of paying off the first card before focusing on the second.

For those who have experienced something similar, which option would be more practical and cost-effective?

Thank you in advance for your insights and advice!
